Contamination: An infection that is spread by an unknown quantity; achieved through the air, sea, etc. It may alter the physical or mental properties.

As an infected product spreads in any manner, it affects others in such a way that it may never go away. It is an epidemic that may be hard to control, or even impossible. We may not even know we have the disease until it starts to develop in later years.

Such was the way of Alpha VI. In an unknown shift in the air, a mass spread of a disease began to disperse across the vast earth. With each inhalation of the air, the people seemed to become ill, sick as you will. As they were taking to hospitals, they began to mutate in small quantities. Some of them were eternal, so their outsides looked perfectly normal, while some were begin to become hideous creatures on the outsides. These changes and shifts in the human were not only physical, but it seemed to alter their potent abilities altogether. As the mutated began to demonstrate immense feats, the people feared for the worse. The mutated seemed to lose control of their body and started to become ravage beasts that did not even use reason. As more and more people began to demonstrate this, the people turned to a new solution…

Whatever the cases may be, the human race decided to take precaution in this situation and created safe-zones, or shrines in the vast contamination of the world. These shrines consisted of filtered air, and facilities to support human environments to keep the contamination out along with the beasts. The shrines held about 10,000 infected/normality each, stationed 1,000 miles apart from one another; thus, more people were lost to the outside air and more of these ravage beasts were formed. Having only a small population left, the humans decided to treat the infected that manage to survive with a special serum that could keep their sanity in check while their mutations did not continue to grow unless exposed to the contamination.

As all the people remaining in the facility seemed to have at least some exposure to the contamination, their powers ranged. Some had hardly any and could only do certain things, while others had moderate power, nothing like the ones that were still outside the shrine walls. These survivors began to create a new civilization, never venturing outside the walls. The new children seemed to still possess the same genes, but they were given a serum at birth to prevent the disease and to have a normal non-disease filled life, or so they think.

(I want to keep my template separate from me RP). =D

Name: Irvine Noxious

Age: 17

Appearance: Standing at 6'1", his figure is a average one. Whitish tipes ruffle through his blondish hair. A blackened scar appears across the left cheek from the infectious disease. As the contaminated breached his skin, his right arm and leg became tarnished in the spoils. Looking much blacker, the arm and leg seem to emit a distinct glow from the rest of his body.

Mentality: His sanity became lowered as the infection began to spread, but once he became inside the shrine, it rose again.

Power: As his right arm and leg shuffle through with different colors, the ability to manipulate the atoms that he touches becomes apparent. Only having minor abilities, it becomes more apparent when he touches the virus.

Bio: Will be revealed in story.

Role in the Shrine: A student aspiring to be a medical doctor to those that inhabit the disease. He contributes nothing besides learning from medical research on how to treat and mange the air-born virus.
