Dark Cloud games? (PS2)

Has anyone here played Dark Cloud or Dark Cloud 2? Are they any good?

I played the first one. It was kinda blah, if you ask me. Since I haven't played the second one, I can't say much for it except for the fact that it looks better.

I tried it, wasn't for me, but I had some friends back where I used to live that would take Dark Cloud over Zelda any day.

I played the first like 2 years ago I owned it.It was fun for awhile I'd say pick it up for cheap.

Both are fantastic. Dark Cloud was my first playstation 2 game. Dark Cloud 2, well...it's great too.

They're Action/RPGish Dungeon Crawlers. They're a little repetitive , but fun.

the 2nd might be a little more enjoyable for you, but they're both good.
