Well, I did it. My BitTorrent download just finished for Final Fantasy XII, the Japanese version. All that's left is to burn it to a DVD and play it..GameFAQs has a " Story Translation ", a " Magic List ", a Gambit Systemt translation, and License board translation. I'm thinking of beating the game in it's Japanese form because I'm an eager beaver XP think it'll ruin it for me when the US version is released?

You realize it's going to be a very different experience and more work since you don't know Japanese, right?

No, I thought I was going to be able to read the kanji. <_< What do you want me to say to that? Of course I know it won't be like the US release is gonna be, of course I know it's gonna be different. But just because I'm going to play it through now, does that mean it's going to absolutely RUIN FFXII for me when it comes out US? o_O;

Nah, I guess it doesn't mean that. Just don't spoil the story for me. :weird:
I think it's really ridiculous that it's taking over 6 months for them to translate it to English. :mad:

I don't know how to explain it <_< I find a kind of purity...some kind of emtion or somethign, out of playing the game like this. Just makes me want to play it even though I know it's in a different language o_O Something about that excites me. Like sex being hot because you know you might get caught? Something ALONG those lines I think.

I guess I see your point, but I'd still rather play the game in a language I know. That's just me though. :weird:

From a torrent...If you dunno what that is, go to Google, and just type in BitTorrent. The first link that comes up should be the homepage. Go there and download the software and install it. Once you have it installed, you can run what are called " Torrents "; these are basically tiny files you download from a website, and when you run them, they let you download whatever file they're linked to. Go somewhere like TorrentSpy, or isohunt.com and search for Final Fantasy XII, FFXII, FF12, and if you can't find anything there, go to google and type Final Fantasy XII PS2 Torrent
