Forgive Me
There is this girl
Who has no face
Her skin pale white
And her heart blue as ice
Her lack of care
Her lack of might
Her discarded face buried deep inside
She told herself she didn’t need him
And lost her heart for no reason
She broke the thread that tied them together
And lost her reason for life
When she smiles
She thinks of him
His face
His light
That kept her from sin
But as time passed by
She began to fade
Her thoughts clouded with death and decay
Then one day
Her family came home
And found her cold as stone
She died all alone
Her final words were written in blood
“Forgive me” she said
Until the end
The deed had been done
