I found out MS charges for changing your gamertag which is a bit lame.. and it's about $10 wow.. what a RIP!!

Does Sony charge for changing gamertags on ps3?

I think they shouldn't be charging so much. Or better yet, limit gamertag changes once per a year... jeez..

i can see why they charge so much, it's like you name. people put effort into naming you.
Same thing with you gamer tag. when you selected it you should have put some real thought into it. i know i did.

And no, you can't change your gamertag/psn id. you can just stop using your current one and create a new one.

Well for mines I had no thought haha.. or I forget what happened something like the membership was added to the wrong account... so i'm stuck with a crappy name.
