How do I format my PS2 memory card?

One of my memory cards has corrupt data. I deleted all of the stuff from it, but it won't let me delete the corrupt file. How the hell do I format the card completely?!

Well you could reboot it by one of those discs from Logictech or Gameshark.

What was the game that was corrupt?

The same exact thing happined to me.I just left it there and it never did anything to my saves.Its still there actually.

MGS3: Subsistence. It just doesn't like that memory card. I deleted the game data and tried to save on there again, but it wouldn't let me.

I'm thinking of backing up old saves on my computer and only keeping the ones for games I'm playing on my memory cards.

God get the newer bigger versions!

The game must be disigned ofr the 32 and up cards!

yeah lol ive only had one currpted file its soul calber 3 and thats only if u turn of the game when u dont go to the main screen first!

oh god soul calibur 3 corrupted for me like 3 times. don't play that one mode or it will corrupt.
