Finally, after a long long time of stale, broken RPG playing, I have been given the permission for a total reset of the current RPG Inferno! Below is the approved form:

Plan: A total reset of the RPG system. Jobs, items, spells, everything. We need freshness not bits and pieces of a dead horse. We'll salvage what we can, but I plan on this to be a complete revision. You said you wanted to revamp GP, here's a good place to start.
Proposed Classes: Paladin (Healer/High strength. Focuses on Holy Spells), Naturalist (Someone dealing with nature. Possible Shapeshifting abilities), (Some form of soldier of course), Rogue (Speed focus. High mana spells that do a lot of damage), Black Knight (Sorta the anti-paladin), Soothsayer (Typical Mage Class), and Shaman (Summoner-style class).

Solvency (How the Harms are fixed): With this revision, you will see all the current problems (Images, spells, maxed out chars) fixed. We will upload new images, people will have to start over and the new classes, spells, ect. will bring a valuable new freshness to GP.

Advantage: Revising the RPG system is an obvious advantage. Right now, the RPG is an ugly mar on an otherwise, strong potential community. We have to look at the RPG as one of the forum's feet, part of it's base. Right now this hypothetical "foot" is broken. With one foot broken, how can we ever hope to get this forums back on its feet and in the right track? We've stood on one foot long enough. I say, it's time for change.

As such of this plan, I have already reset and shut down access to the RPG system. I will continue to post updates on my progress of constructing the new RPG below. Please feel free to post any questions or comments about the reset or any suggestions you might have about the building of this new RPG.

Make Paladin Class: Done
Make Warrior Class: Done
Make Nature Class: Done
Make Rogue Class: Pending
Make Black Knight Class: Pending (Also, there might be a change in the name of the chain. All suggestions for names are welcome as names can often be the most difficult part of building an RPG.)
Make Soothsayer Class: Pending
Make Shaman Class: Pending

we decided not to use v3.. just because it's in testing stages still.. for many months now. I think it's best to use the same RPG 2.4. No one knows when 3.0 will be out.. and if it does come out.. will it still have bugs.. so it's best we don't wait for it and use our current system.

v3 isn't 100% done yet even... there is no point in waiting for a final release, they may take months to finish it. I rather use a product thats been stable and is a final release, then try a beta version and find all sorts of bugs in it..

That's what every game is like when it's first released though. Always has some kind of glitches. Just look at the game system itself. The PS3 has tons of glitches. But that's getting off subject. Pretty much it is good to wait for v3 to get tested and then fix any problems it may encounter. Pretty much the forums sites that have it are the testers.

My proposal was not meant to suggest that we wouldn't use v3 when it does come out for final release, but rather that we should update the one we have now even if v3 will come out soon.

Here's the latest update and some class explainations.
Rogue, Soothsayer, Gunner, and Black Paladin classes are done.
Low Level Spells have been made.
Low level items have been made.
Itemshop categories have been constructed to include CLASS SPECIFIC shops.

Class Benefits:

Paladin has holy spells for healing and for damage. Paladins also have the "Calm" skill which can reduce rage.

Naturalists have nature spells for leeching and damage. They also have the "Remedy" skill which can save money on curing blind, mute, and poison. One interresting factor about Naturalists is their "shapeshifting" ability which will be the same as the previous "Keyblader Drive Forms".

Rogues have high evasion and vitality with moderate strength. Also, rogues make more daily gil from their job than the other classes.

Warriors have high strength and the ability to wield every weapon in the Weapons Shop no matter what the class speciality is except for ranged weapons. Also, warriors have the harsh "Cripple" skill which takes MP away from casters.

Black Paladins have high strength and defense and the ability to wear any armor no matter what class specifications. This is a very well-rounded class.

Soothsayers have high MP and Vitality. They also have the most spell catagories because they specialize in magic damage (Including various spells that belong to other classes).

Gunners have high health to compensate for low defence. They will also have a vast variation for their class specific items and the only class that can use ranged weapons.

Shaman are probably the wierdest class in their wide variation of spells. They will have low level leech, cripple, calm, damage, and healing spells, though they will never be as strong as their more focused counterparts. They will also be host to a wide variaty of summons.

About 80% of the people who played had chars as strong as it's possible to get. I think an RPG should take a while to max out on and I hope to do that with this one. I wasn't able to work on it much this week because I was sick for one of my work sessions and I've just been in a general bad mood because I'm not feeling up to par, so I appologize on the lack of progress and I hope that not too many people have already gotten further than what I released.

You're just as mad about Inferno as me. I should know - I just laid waste to 3-and-a-half hours of my life to pave the way for power-leveling, so far I've leveled up 11 times or something, can't remember what level I was when I started. And one request: would you be able to make more than one of each bot for us? It gets pretty annoying when everyone's competing to fight one bot, and one person (unfortunately, in this case me) always seems to get to the bot ahead of everyone. Leaving the rest to either keep clicking "Battle" in the hopes they'll get a turn, or take turns fighting the other bot.

OMG D= I'm sorry i've been gone for so long...again T_T I know, i must really suck as an rpg admin, since I'm hardly ever here. I promise i'll try my best to get on and do as much as I can >=O !!! But, i can only be on on certain days, since i have after school activities, aka crap. I know i won't be able to get on Wednesday or Thursday, but i know i'll be on friday and the weekend. Hopefully this won't turn into crap again due to previous admins...
