Once, the planet was divided into five countries: Fire Country, Lightning Country, Water Country, Earth Country, and Wind Country. The countries lived peacefully until three years ago. Lightning and Wind Countries shinobi clans suddenly went to war against one another. Earth Country’s shinobi government tried to negotiate to find out what was going on and got dragged into the war.
Fire and Water Countries soon started raising defenses and were trying to keep out of the fighting. Now just recently, Water Country was taken over by a tyrannical ruler, and has already made multiple attacks against Lightning Country.
Fire Country shinobi government has yet release this news to the public and still continues raise defenses incase Water Country’s ruler decides to order an attack against Fire Country.
Fire Countries head shinobi council is becoming uneasy. They want to do whatever possible to keep from being dragged into the war. Eventually, the council sees there is no way to keep out of it and decides to tell the public soon.
Little does the council know that a few young shinobi from the ninja academy in the Village hidden in the Leaves and other parts of Fire country would play a monumental part in ending the war.
Today, the six of them barely even know eachother, if at all. They spend their time in their respective villages honing their skills and living their seperate lives.
On the west side of the ninja academy (the east is where Naruto, Sasuke, etc are), Kaito Tozuna prepares to face off against a new guy who thinks he's tougher than everyone else. He tightens up his gear and stretches to get ready. He soon turns around to find the new standing there waiting.
"Are you done yet, or do you want to save your butt-kicking for later?" The arrogant kid remarked.
"Yes, I am actually." Kaito replied in a sly, cool voice. "It's your move."
"Heh, fine!!" The boy said as he charged towards Kaito. as he got within 5 feet of him, he punched Kaito square in the face. "HAHAA!!! That's right!" He shouted. He continued to land blow after blow on him until he tired and Kaito flew backwards towards the ground. "How'd . . . you . . . like . . . that, huh?" The boy panted.
A few seconds later, Kaito appeared behind the boy and held a kunai under his neck. "You done whoopin' on that log yet?" Kaito asked. The boy then noticed he wasn't punching Kaito at all, but was hitting a heavy log instead.
"I imagine your hand and legs must hurt quite a bit." Keito remarked. The boy was furious. He turned around to hit Kaito, but Kaito quickly disappeared behind him again with out him noticing. As the boy looked around, Kaito kept quiet and stayed directly out of his sight. After he felt he had embarrassed the boy enough, he said quietly, "Boo!" The boy quickly turned around to receive a punch right across the face, knocking him out.
