How many people here read Nintendo Power Magazine?

I used to a lot a few years back and saw it recently again.

Ah.... good old days. Best way to find cheats, walkthroughs etc.. before the internet! ;\

Like you said, I used to read such magazines when the internet wasnt such a big deal, at least not for me back then. But yeah..in the end I thought it was too expensive and pretty useless cause I could find everything I needed in the net.

Good old times though!

Honestly, I'm not sure if I ever read it, I used to read game magazines that my friends bought a while ago, but I forgot which ones were. But yeah, I agree with TLS I'm not into buying expensive magazines when I can get all info online.

And yes, amazing as it sounds, I actually look up for games on the internet =O !! After all, how should I play without my walkthroughs and cheats.

The reason why it was so popular was because not many people had net access. So, if you wanted walkthroughs back in the 90's.. magazines was the best way. Although, now you can still read the magazines for free at libraries and some magazines are ezines.
