Perfect Red Rain

I shed my silent, salty tears
This was it...
"I give up," were the words ringing in my ears

I lifted the blade - smooth and shiny
To my wrist - supple, pale, and tiny
It slid across my arm with haste, wasting no time at my distaste

I lifted my head to see the damage
Shaking at the sight of carnage
My dark, crimson blood dripped to the floor

I quivered, letting the blade slip to the ground
My eyes were wide like cricled moons
My breath grew faint with sighs that loomed

"Thump, thump" went my heart at the shock of the moment
It beat at my rib cage, pounding in torment
The sound echoed to my head with throbbing grey pain in my stead

I had slit my wrist and spilled my blood
A clean, swift cut with lots of shame
A shocking, vibrant, Perfect Red Rain.

*Faints* I can't see or even think of blood. lol

But... wow, that was awesome. I just wanted to scream: "Stop don't do that, cutting is just wrong."

But seriously, t'was brilliant Maj. Very great!!!

I loved it, but in my opinion you should take out this line

"I had slit my wrist and spilled my blood"

It would make the poem flow better but just a suggestion... it is still a great poem by a perfect poet
