Best build style

whats your favorite builder/builder-style?

A - Drones: must be sacrificed to create the building but buildings are relatively cheap and heal over time

B - Probes: do not need to stay near warp rift, but expensive, shields replenish over time

C - SCV: mid cash, but need to work on building for all of construction, but can repair for minerals.

kinda devolves into whats ur favorite race, but thats always a good discussion 2, i'd have to go with terran on this one, just cuz the repair and mid-costs.

im more probe... being able to build 10 buildings (usually pylons) instantly is priceless.

i just ddnt like the drones because there is no way to heal their buildings.. only thier shields.

i'd say toss is best cause while those buildings are getting warped you are getting the probe to mine=more money=less money lost.

zerg is weaker cause your basically adding the drone build time and cost to the building time and cost

If you factor in the time and cost of the drone itself then you come out about equal in price to Terran. I have to go with probe as well.

You should add in that Zerg are limited by Creep and Protoss by Pylon range.

i say drones, maybe because im used to using them, but protoss is more efficient but it makes since because protoss are expensive, it all balances out when you think about it.

Of course they're all balanced. Ten years of testing has proved this. It all comes down to what you are most familiar with or prefer.

Best build style?
Protoss all the way. Like it's been stated before, just start the warp in, and get back to gathering minerals. Most efficient build style.

It really cannot be argued (though I could be wrong). Protoss are the best at building (and most everything else if you ask me ^^), hands down. They are just unparalleled in their productivity. This is counterbalanced by high costs, but the gathering itself is most efficient.

do u know what scv stands for? huh? obviously not space construction vehicle, NO!
it's Super Vicious Carnivor. which is better than probes and drones. (plus they repair )

well how many of your builders can dig. This is a very effective for counter against attacks on resources, yeah it may slow me down, but i still have ALL my drones in the end. Yes i know there are scanners and detectors, but Im talking about mid to late game, I always have my resources defended by then. But anywayz can yall dig it.

Dammit, I can't remember... Do you have to detect burrowed units, or will psi-storm fry their asses any way? I'm not one to use High Templar, so I forgot.

well i actually intended it to be about eberything about the builder, anything they have other builders dont counts for builder points. for example i think scv's have the most hp at 60 right? i know probes have like 20/20 (shields) and do drones have 40 or 60?

you have to find them first, and it does count for survive ability, which is an efficency in its own right. Besides you wont have high-templar eary game anyway, by the time you do i have sunkens and spores waiting on your so called clever templar drop.
