Cachet Academy
Tales of the Night

Vampires have been damned and cursed at for thousands of years by humans because of their ‘scary’ appearance. Because of the humans who are easily tampered with, they have created rumors of vampires taking the blood of humans instead of small animals such as cats, dogs, birds, ect. On the contrary, vampires did not crave for human blood because they had never tasted such delicate liquid until the humans started to donate their blood. Volunteers from all of towns had started to donate their blood and given them to the vampires in order for the vampires to leave the humans in ‘peace’. Since there was free blood being sent to the vampires, they had gladly taken the offer and drank in delight. This is where the problem starts. Because of this new, sweet and delicate taste of human blood, the weak vampires caved in from their thirst. Slowly, one by one, the vampires started to actually attack humans who have roamed alone in the streets and forests.
The humans became enraged by the vampire’s actions and started to protest and hunt these demons, trying to end their rein. For years now, the humans have hunted for the vampire’s bodies for all sorts of odd and meaningless actions. Some pull out the fangs of the vampires to wear them in pride, displaying their stand and rage. Others quietly try to hide from the vampires in their homes, moved away, far away to escape.
A few hundred years later, one human, a man had created a private school for students from all over the world. A few years after the academy's opening and a decent amount of students within the school and dorms, the president of the academy had created a pact with a vampire society. This pact will allow vampire students into the academy but not with the human students. Of course the human students do not know about the vampire student’s admissions and only admired their presence. The president or the chairman of the academy is trying to bring vampires and human’s back together to live together without the fight and constant hunts.

Humans:
Ordinary Humans: Humans are delicate and easily broken with words and actions and vampires know this fully. Some vampires take advantage to this and others hold their tongue in respect. Human’s may be turned into vampires with a bite from one, but only from a pure breed.

Vampire Hunters: The humans created an alliance when the first actual vampire attacks had occurred a few thousand years ago. They are known as Vampire Hunters who dedicate their lives in hunting and killing vampires all over the world. Because of their dedication, they often train their children to hunt and detect vampires at an early age. This alliance is still standing strong in the present time but there are not many running around to hunt vampires every second.

Vampires:
Pure Breed: There are a rare few that remain in the present time because of the Vampire Hunters who hunt them mainly. Pure Breeds have the power to turn the humans into vampires with a single bite and also grant power/strength to humans and vampires with a taste of their blood. Pure Breeds have a strong aura around them at all times and is always respected by the lower vampires. Throughout history, Pure Breeds have been the king and queen figures around everyone else and for a lower vampire to bite a Pure Breed is a sin, unless the permission is granted. When a Pure Breed bites a human and turns them into a vampire, that human is the Pure Breed’s slave and can not do anything against their will. Pure breeds of power to read anyone’s mind with the taste or scent of blood and also have the ability to erase a certain amount of memory to humans. They are looked upon as royalty from all vampires.

Ordinary Vampires: These vampires are those that are born as vampires but does not contain a strong family blood line. This means somewhere along the line of their family history, there has been a human who had been bitten. These vampires do have a certain power and they are all unique as are their characters. Vampires are very loyal to the Pure Breeds and are very over protective over them because of their royalty.

Turned Vampires: Vampires who have been turned from a Pure Breed have the most miserable future with one hope which is not easily gained. Human’s who have been turned will have the strong thirst of blood kick in at random times of the day and with this thirst comes pain. Turned vampires are bound to turn into mindless bodies that only search for blood. These vampires, who have lost control of their thirst are called the “Eeves”. Eeves can not turn back into their old self and for this, both humans and vampires hunt to kill them from bringing harm. Once Turned Vampires turn into Eeves they will hunt both human and vampires the same just for the blood. Of course there is one thing that can almost cure a Turned Vampire. This is to drink their master’s blood or in other words, drink the blood of the Pure Breed that turned the human.

The Academy:
Cachet Academy has both human and vampire students who attend but they do not attend classes at the same time. Human’s have the regular school hours from 9 am to 5pm. All human students must go to their designated dorms at 5pm sharp. The vampire students or the ‘Night Class’ as the human students call them, start from 5pm to 2 am.
The academy is laid out in a triangle, such where one point is the classes itself which connects to the two other buildings. The two buildings are the dorms of humans and vampires. Of course the two dorm buildings are not connected with each other for the safely of the students.

Characters:
Vampires:
Pure Breeds: There will only be two pure breeds that attend the academy.
Vampires: The more there are, the better so you may have two characters if you can play both roles without confusing them.
Turned vampires: These characters will either die somewhere in the story if they do not get the blood of a pure blood.

Humans:
Ordinary Human students: These students will play a major role in the role play so don't think they only show up during the day. Of course, because of this I can only allow two or three human students for this role.
Vampire Hunters: Because of the alliance with the vampire society, Vampire Hunters will not be allowed to attack vampires within the academy so there is really only one or two needed for this role.

The music flew across the campus from corridor to corridor in faint whispers. The melody brought the sadness in her heart from the low notes as it traveled through her body, causing a passion to play on. Behind the doors of a room, she played her passion, her eyes closed and her expression, smooth. Before she could end her melody, there was a knock on the door and she gave permission to enter. One of the double cherry oak doors opened in a low creek and there entered another young female.

“The Chairman would like to speak with you, Ma’am.” The voice was faint and lovely, almost like the melody of the violin stings. Her violet eyes shimmered from what little light came through the windows from the moon.

“Thank you, Eumie. I will be on my way.” This voice had more of a melody to it, a voice that is able to soothe any soul. The words came out as if they were dancing to the other’s ears. “You may leave.”

Eumie took a bow with her right hand crossed over her chest before her departure. “As you wish.” The girl’s footsteps were hardly loud enough for a human to hear.

The female still in the room brought her violin down from under her chin and placed it back into its container, shutting it lightly. Looking out the window for a brief moment, she let out a short sigh before she turned to walk. “The time has come too soon.” Her movements seemed like light dance steps as she walked out the door and down a long hallway, empty and dark. To her right side doors passed by as the female walked down the hall way with the moonlight coming through all the windows from her left. From time to time there were other students within the night class who strolled through the hall way and they had bowed down their heads before this female had walked to them. They kept their head down until she had turned a corner. More long halls were stretched out in front of the woman but before she reached the end, she turned another corner to her left. There was a door in front with a small tab saying “Chairman” to the side of the door.

The young woman knocked on the door twice very lightly and entered the room. This room was well lit with a small bookshelf to the left. A desk was near the back, center of the room with black sofas in front. At the center of the sofas was a small coffee table with a vase of white and pink Freesia flowers.

“You called for me, Sir?” She spoke as she walked up to the front of the desk. A man sat there with his head in a book, seeming to read very quickly.

“Oh Adora! You’re here!” He said as he placed the book down, bringing his hands together next to his cheeks. Adora let out a small smile as she looked at the chairman. “You look as pretty as ever!” He flattered Adora, his eyes closed with a large smile. His joy spreading across the room.

“Thank you, Cachet.” Adora commented back, her voice giving him flutters of more joy. “I assume you called me for that reason.” Adora said, her voice still light and feathery as a melody.

“Yes, I have.” The chairman places his elbows on his table with his hands locking together. He looked at her with a serious expression. “You know She will be coming here soon enough. I need you to be ready.”

“Do not worry, Sir.” Adora soothed. “Nothing will be out of place when She comes.”

Wendon was pacing the dorm halls. It was about 4 pm. The "day" class was almost over. He hated the day class. Frankly he hated humans. He especially hated that guy Marcus.

Wendon knocked on his sisters door. She didn't answer at all. He knocked hard. She still didnt answer. Finally he walked in. She was sleep with head phones in her ears. He shook his head. He shook her violently. She woke up. "What?" she asked softly. "Wave. You know about the plan right?" he asked. She rolled her eyes, and turned over. "Waverly this is serious. I'm going to try to find the power to be a true blood. In science we learned that blood particles when extracted will make or even enhance powers. I will become a true blood....." she wasn't listenling. "When i become a true blood i will kill your precious Marcus." he said. She turned over and stood up. "You touch him or any human for that matter. I will kill you." she said looking him in the face. "Why do you like him so much. He doesn't even know who you are? He want to kill us. So why?" Wendon asked. Waverly walked to the door and opened it. "OUT!" she said. Wendon smirked and walked out. "She is so stupid." he said laughing.

The bell finally rang. It was 4:30pm. Marcus stretched as he exited the class room. The sun beamed through the windows of the hall as other student flooded the hall way. The chatter of their conversations shredded the silence.
Marcus sped up as he headed down the hall. He knew he would be confronted by someone, the same way he is around the end of the day.

"Hey, Orion." the familiar voice came from behind him.
"Great, right on schedule." he thought. He turned around. "What do ya want, Leon?" In front of him she stood with a smile on her face with her arms folded behind her back. "I was wondering..If you'd like to meet with me sometime this evening..." Marcus sighed heavily. " Sorry, this evening is too short notice, you should have asked me earlier." Riah's smile melted. "Oh, I'm sorry, Marcus. Well maybe some other time, I guess." She said. Marcus turned to walk. "Yeah, I'll see you around. I've got a lot to do today. Later."
He waved as he walked off and left her there. He didn't intend to make her feel bad. But he couldn't allow her to get to know him, it was too dangerious.

Waverly woke up at 4:45 pm. She just escorted her brother out her room. She never understood Wendon. Wendon was always trying to be stronger and powerful. He turned it into an obsession. Why he hated humans as much as he did she would never understand. She always thought humans were like pets. They longed for attention and was so fragile.

Then there was....Marcus. Marcus had strength in his soul. She learned he came from a long line of vampire hunters. Thought Waverly liked him...she stayed away from him. She always watched him leave to his dorm.

She got up from her bed and gathered her stuff. She turned out the light and headed towards her class. It was now 5:10 pm. She saw Marcus walked out of the classroom. Waverly got eye contact and smiled slightly. Then she blushed and shyly went into class and took her seat. 10 minutes later she saw her brother laughing with his friends. "That human girl, Riah..." was all she heard because they became silent when the teacher came in to start class.

Marcus' eyes met waverly's for a second. She smiled but he did not, he knewwhat she was and didn't understand why human students had to share a school with these 'montsers'. To make things worst a good number of students are completely unaware of them. He exited the school buidling as the the late bell rang, he didn't care. His day was over, the night classes had begun....for 'them'. Marcus threw up his hoodie and head toward the dorms.

Marcus finally reached his room. The sun was drifting near the horizon, but not dark yet.
He pushed his key in the door and turned. As he entered his room he noticed a figure in the corner of the room. The figure moved and Marcus reacted with reaching for his short sword. "Yo chill, son." the familar voice said quickly. Marcus sighed. "Man, I told you about comming in here Kuran." Kuran stood up. "Man, I came to holla at you for a second." He said shakking his brother's hand.

--Mean While--

Riah sat in the cafe with her head down starring at her ice cream. Her day was over as well, she just had no one to spend the with. "Hey, Riah! What ya doin' ?" A girl asked as she sat down next to her. "Hi Sara." Riah said sounded dissappointed. "Girl, what's wrong." Sara asked. Before Riah could answer Sara guessed. " It's Marcus, isn't it? "
She asked with a laugh. " He knows you like him. You just need to get some guts to let him know what's up." Riah thought for a second. "It's not the easy." She said. Sara reached for Riah's spoon and took a bit of the melting ice cream. " Yes, it is. You're just scared and that's alright. " Riah watched as Sara eat the spoon full. She had given it a lot of thought.

"You know, he did say I should asked him out earlier before I asked him." Sara raised an eyebrow in approval. "See, you should go book a date with him." She insisted. Riah nodded in agreement. " You're right. I'll got talk to him." with that she stood up and walked off leaving Sara with the ice cream soup.

"Wae Your brother is so sexy." Jamie who was sitting next to her. "He's an idiot." Waverly said. "Can I be excused?" Wendon asked. "Yes." the teacher said. Waverly looked back at her brother. He winked at her and laughed with his friends. "What is he up to?" Waverly asked herself.

She waited five minutes. Suddenly she jumped. "Excuse me." she said and exited the room. She used her power of speed to find her brother. It was getting dark. She ran throughout campus. Then she saw it. Her brother had a human girl in his arms. His fangs were exposed. "Stop!" Waverly said. "Or what?" Wendon said. "I'm stronger than you Wendon." Waverly yelled. "Waverly. We are stronger then they are." Waverly ran and stunned him in his chin. "What's your name?" she asked the girl. "Lisa." she whimpered. Waverly looked to see if she was bitten. She wasn't. "Run!" she yelled. Lisa ran off. Wendon punched Waverly in her face. "*****! She was my meal!" he yelled. "You don't need a meal. You aren't a turned Vamp. You are full blood." Waverly said. Her hand holding her face. Wendon punched her in the face again. He knocked Waverly out. "Teaches you to interfere." he yelled.
--------------------------------------

"She stopped me." he yelled. She was on the other side of the campus so maybe a Vampire hunter would finish her for him. "You missed all of class. Janaisia wasn't happy at all. You'll have an extra load of homework, you and Waverly." Rukio, his friend said "That's if she live. Maybe that Marcus will kill her. That would be one problem less." Wendon said angrily. "Are you serious about Marcus killing her?" Rukio asked. "He's a hunter. Of course he would kill her. I hate Waverly." Wendon said. "I'll try that Riah girl next. Waverly won't interfere next time. Imma try the subtle approach. I'll be here friend, and then POW!, i got her." Wendon said laughing. "Whatever man. You shoud try to learn from Adora. She has the power. Being a true blood and all." Rukio said. "I'll learn my own way." Wendon said.
------------------------------------
Waverly woke up. She couldn't move much though. She got up with pain and tried to walk back to her side of campus. Suddenly she fell. "This is it. Either the hunters or my hunger will kill me."
