Salidify lay in his bed thinking about what he and the other children had witnessed earlier in the day. It was almost as if the entire day had been a dream. Had he slept a whole day and was waking at this very moment? Or was he just in shock from the days events. So many kids had almost been hurt in the fire, and yet so many managed to get out unscathed. It was like a miracle. " you would think the school would have figured out what cuased the first fire. Maybe then they would have been able to prevent this one.* he scoffed thinking to himself more. This school had messed up his life, his friends, his family, everything. How could his parents have sent him here. Like he was some sort of dog that had disobeyed its master, the Dog Theory as salidify had come to call it. Just becuase he had been the last person seen around after a shooting, or a gang fight, or something else, must mean that he was the one responsible. Finaly he closed he stood up out of his bed and pushed himself out into the hallway, closing his door quietly behind him as he stepped out into the cold dark corridor. He Had only felt truely alone in the hallway at night, when no one else could see him.

"why did they have to send me to this place?" He whispered to himself as he sat down beside his door, trying to keep quiet so he would not wake his roomate." i never did anythign wrong, i dont understand" Salidify closed his eyes and let his face droop towards the dark , carpeted floor. he ran his hand along the lines of fiber sticking out which formed the carpet " I swear i will never forgive them if i ever get out of here. I have to find a way out first." With out making a sound he slid across the hallway and leaned against the other wall, so he could tell if his roomate was coming out into the hallway or not. All he was worried about now was getting through school and out of this god forsaken hell hole. He had heard so many stories about this school, and here he was living in the dorm hallways. Nothing is as bad as it seems until you actualy experience it. Once again the young boy allowed his head to drop to face the ground directly, his eyes searching every thread of the carpet for an answer to a question he had not yet even asked. The darkness of the building seemed to comfort him a bit as he sat alone in the shadowy hallway.

Hikaru couldn't sleep. He was thinking about the fire, and the fire before that. He had been a the school for about a year, so he saw it all. The flames, the smoke, one of his best friends had died in the first fire and he himself had almost died in the second. he sat infront of his computer (do they have them?) thinking of all the things that had ever went wrong in his life. First his parents getting divorced when he was young, then then them getting back togehter and breaking up again, this time for good, and all the other things that had happened. And now this came along.

God I'm thirsty, he thought to himself. he got up and went out into the hall to get a drink of water. There were sinks in his dorm but he felt like walking. He walke to the farthest water fountian in the dorm section and got a drink, and while coming back he noticed someone sitting in the hall.

 

[Stryfe]

Laying on his bed with his back stationed up against the wall, the teenager seemed to be entranced in the book he was reading. Glancing through the pages with amazing speed, he was entangled in book's drama until the word "fire" appeared within the text. His eyes glanced up and shot into the wall in front of him, reminiscing about what had happened earlier in the day. Soon, thoughts began to clutter his mind. The ones where the answers seemed so far away....

The sound, the blasted sound that echoed before the fire...what could it have been? But the question that should be asked is the fact that why were we sent to dorms immedietly following? We couldn't check up on anyone?

As the thoughts gathered in his mind, his eyes began to gaze down back at the novel he was reading. The thoughts seemed to go away again as he continued to read by the moonlight above him. Flipping to the next page, he could hear the snores of his roomate. The very deep and annoying ones that seemed to keep him awake all night. His ears soon perked to hear the faint sounds of someone outside, yet he merely whispered to himself about the issue...."Fool, whoever it is...they will get caught."

Salidify quickly brought his attention to the situation at hand. Someone was in the hallway. He had tried to maintain perfect stillness and maybe blend in with the dark wall on which he was leaning, but his attempts seemed worthless no matter how hard he tried. his back stayed straigh on the cold wooden wall behind him. Not making a sound, or moving for all he could help. once again he realized quickly his attempt was futile as the being had already took notice of him. " damit" he thought" now im busted for sure, i will never see home again" His head slipped on his shoulders and seemed to buckle as He stared up at the Person who was still some ways away." Maybe i can make a run for it" The idea slipped into his mind,then right back out When he remembered they were in a fenced in enviroment, on top of the fact they were in the middle of nowhere. All he could do now was wait for the inevitable to happen, he knew eventualy he would get cuaght on these little escapades into the hallway at night. He had just been hoping that maybe he would have had a little more time.

Salidify took one last lok at the thing in the hallway Before coming to the thought that Maybe it was just another kid out for a little walk in the middle of the night. Is it so hard to believe that maybe someone else got sick of staring at the ceiling all night and wanted a little change in scenary." Hey" he called out" if your a teacher then go on and take me in, i dont care, i figure things cant get worse then where im at so just go ahead." Once again Salidify had found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time" But" he continued" if your a student, might i ask what in gods name your doing outside of your dorm this late at night" His tone was curios, not offensive, he simply wanted to know why they were there. For the moment, the thoughts of the fire and being alone were lost, He felt like someone might actualy talk to him for once. Everybody at this school had seemed so hard all the time, Salidify was no exception though, so really he didnt have room to talk.

 

[Demon_Eyes Kyo]

"Hey calmdown alright, I'm sorry if I scared you kinda but I didn't mean to. I couldn't sleep and got thirsty, so I came out here and got a drink. That's all." Hikaru said while he was thinking to himself. Then he realized, what if he had just gotten himself caught. Anyone of the teachers could be out patrolling the school, but it didn't sound like a teacher, at least not one that he had ever had.

"May I ask what you are doing out here?" He asked, wondering to himelf, and not expecting a reply. If it was another student and he or she was smart enough to figure out
that he was a student then he'd probably get a reply, if he didn't it was probably a teacher, or it was a student but he or she thought that he was a teacher.

I got one shot and thats all kaska told himself as he put the tape around a small cylinder in his hand.He stuck it to the wall and wired it to his laptop.*Enter*
The cylinder exploded and kaska's body slipped through the smoky hole, only to see that he had misscolculated and landed inside another dorm but was more suprised when he noticed that there were two other kids in the dorm, kaska had a record o every student at the school but hasnt looked through he would rather make bombs, he straitened himself out and talked,
"hello, howz your morning?"
just turn around, but wait, they both look like they were discussing something, what, and why arent they in there rooms, is it soemthing im intrested in?I guess time will only tell. he thought and laughed to himself this will be fun

Salidify slowly lifted his head from the ground. Obviously by the way the person was talking, it wasnt a teacher. The fact that only moments ago parts of a wall down the hallway crumbled to the ground and revealed yet another person. So much for his night of being alone and thinking to himself. He stood up and held out his hand to the kid that had been there first" Hi....im salidify." Salidify shyly spoke. He rarely met anyone new here, much less anyoen who had been here a few years. Meeting new people just wasnt his thing, it never worked out for him, and he always found some way to screw it up. His plan since he got to the school was dont introduce himself to anyone, that way he wouldnt have to deal with the pain of leaving them when he finaly got out of this school, if he ever got out of this school. For now, he could live with making a few aquaintances at the school. but having actual friends was out of the question. suddenly he turned to the other kid, who had emerged from the hole in the wall only minutes earlier" My name is salidify. You wouldnt happen to be that computer whiz kid would you?" Salidify smiled and sat back down on the floor.

For now, he could live with making a few aquaintances, He thought again, but having actual friends was out of the question.

"haha. . haha, mabey I am mabey i ain't, but one thing i know is that im Kaska, I AM the computer wiz, but im not a kid and certainly not a nerd, im good with comps but i love to do martial arts and I've never lost a fight. . . mabey thats why I'm here, haha well none the less I'm probobly in trouble, but I can't very well run 'cause that would leave you two as crooks now wouldn't it?"
lol this should be fun, mabey i should leave them both haha well nonethe less the other guy, who is he?
"hey you there, sitting down, whats up, why you so. . . well boring?" Kaska dusted off his pants and booted down his laptop.He waited for his responses. . .

 

[Heavenly Damnation]

Kazimo opened her violet eyes quickly, rolling around in her bed, Great...people talking right outside my room, when I'm trying to sleep. Can't they show some manners and take their conversation elsewhere? It's only been a day since the fire and already things are acting stranger than ever... I guess I should go and see whats up then. She sat up, pushing off the covers, in her PJs, and put on some slippers. Her long silvery hair in two pig tails, bangs slightly covering her eyes, moved gracefully behind her as she walked to her door.

With a yawn, Mo-mo opened the door and looked out the door spotting 4 students talking amongest themselves in the hall, Just as I thought. She stepped out of her room into the hall and spoke out in a stern tone, "Shouldn't you all be in bed? Hm...?" She grabbed one of her pig tails and ran her fingers through it slowly, waiting for a reply from one of them. Her bright violet eyes scanned the students, seeing they all were guys. Great...guys. I should probably go back in my room now. Slippered feet turned, she started to walk back into her room, then stopped, Wait...what are they talking about?

Her delicate face turned to look at them once more, "What are you talking about...may I ask?" She leaned against the wall and sighed, just looking at them, Awkward...What did I just get myself into? Mo-mo was fairly new to the school and came only a few days before the fire. She did not have many friends yet and so, why not become friends with them, They seem to all be nice. A smile crossed her face and she spoken with a sweet tone, "I'm sorry to interupt you all, it was rude of me....I am Kazimo Sinia, it is a pleasure to meet you all. May I know of you names as well as answers to my earlier questions?"

Salidify curled his long slim fingers tightly into a fist. Seconds ago he had been fine, but since a girl entered the conversation he was now very uneasy. He had never had much luck with girls, and they always had not been attracted to him so in the end, just like everything else, he just assume give up. He climbed to his feet once again and closed his eyes walking away. as soon as he was at the nearest corner, he turned and sat down in the shadows. Salidify stared at the ground once more, scaning every fiber of the carpet for his answer. He was so confused these days. Most of the time it just seemed like everyone ignored him, but it seemed when he wanted to be alone everyone suddenly wanted to talk to him. Just when he had gotten settled in to a feeling of comfort, he was broke out of it again. Salidify always felt like he was screwing everythign up for everyone else as well. Yet another reason why he didnt make any friends. " why does everyone have to be so difficult when i want attention." he whispered to himself" i didnt want to be noticed tonight, but three people found their way to me somehow.." he rubbed his eyes, wraping his arms around himself.it was quite chilly in the hallway, Despite the fact they were in the middle of a desert." Dam school always runing the airconditioners on full blast. its so cold in here." He closed his eyes, trying to keep from falling asleep in the hallway, which would mean yet again he would get into trouble. Letin out a yawn he took a long blink and fell over on his side.

He began to think about home again and all the friends he had had there. Then he thouhgt about all the friends he didnt have here, and how he had just blown another shot at making some. It was at this point that he knew he wanted friends, not aquaintances." Im so messed up." He began to think about home and how much he missed it, then he began to hope no one would come around the corner and see the tears in his eyes." I Dont deserve friends...i screw things up too much, i would probably just get them in trouble too." He peeked around the corner to make sure they were not coming. His deep eyes now Leaving streaks of tears down soft skin of his face, he was so depressed and he didnt even realize it. Salidify and his thoughts slowly drifted towards trying to find solutions to his problems. Anywhere from cuting to suicide, bullying or crying, He didnt care how he solved his problem he just wanted to make them all go away.

How could such a nice kid get put in a school like that? His mother used to say. The thoughts of home suddenly didnt seem so cheery anymore. HIs parents obviously didnt want him there, and he was just making matters worse for his friends anyways, so him being thrown in some prison for kids out in the middle of nowhere is a good thing. this only made his crying worse, he wasnt crying fully yet, it was merely a stream of tears with a couple sniffles here and there. he peeked around the corner once more, he didnt see anything for the water in his eyes. just a few blurs down the hallway. He sat alone in the darkness, trying to keep himself held together, but also trying to forget all the bad things that had happened to him, starting with walking away from those three back down the hallway." they probably think im some kind of loner child now, ill never make any friends this way...." and with that thought, he put his head back down towards the ground, and continued crying while he shivered in the cold dark hallway, trying to keep from being discovered.

"What's with him?" Hikaru asked just after Salidify had left the hallway. "Never mind, I'm Hikaru." He said, thinking to himself. He needed some friends right now and this could be a good opportunity to make some.
He leaned himself up against the wall. "So, how did you two get in here?" He asked.

(sorry, I know it's not very long but I'm really tired right now and I cant really think of anything else)

Wow, she's beautiful. . . but i can't very well just say that, ill have to let things play out they were ment to, in the mean time, i need to find Salidify

The moonlight flashed over the book again, illuminating the pages that he was reading. His fingers twitched and flipped to the next page before resting his thumb on it to stop it from turning bach. Hearing the commotion down the hall, he couldn't help but wonder why none of them had been caught yet. Soon, he couldn't escape the annoying sounds of conversation going in the halls while he was reading. Lifting the covers up from his warmed legs, he soon felt the chill air around the room. Putting one foot on the ground then the next, he sat at the edge of the bed thinking about what to say when he went out there. Making sure his roomate was still asleep, he stood up and looked closely to see the closed eyelids. Taking precatuious steps, he finally appeared before cherry-wood door. Taking one last look back, he reached out his hand and turned the knob and emerged in the hallway.....

Glancing left and right, he soon set his eyes on the group of kids that were down the hall. Two of them seemed to be about the same age, while the rest seemed younger. Silently closing the door, he made his way down the hall. He slipped his hands into his pockets and continued to walk towards the group. Upon reaching halfway there, words appeared out of his mouth, "Would you all just get some sleep? Talk in the morning. I mean, seriously, you are annoying me when I am trying to read...."

Kaska looked to the new voice, it was another guy, "We could, but what if i don't want to?" Kaska said pulling the dagger from the pocket of his cargo jeans, concealing it to where the others could not see, his eye caught the reflection of a hall monitor in the other hallway where he had blasted through, "It doesn't matterif we are going to bed or being quite, because there is a hall monitor coming down the hallway of the other side of that hole, judging by where its at it'll be here in a few seconds, they see us. . . and its everyone for themselves, but, if we work together we can get out of this. Of course," Kaska said the last sentence toward the new boy, " you could always go to your room, but mine and hers are in the twenties so we have to move fast. . ., so the question is, what do we do?"
Kaska grasped his dagger harder, ready to plunge it into the new boy incase he and mo-mo had to get away, he had aready diturbed Kaska anyways. He new that by saying hers instead of mo-mo's name he would insure no singing if the kid was caught.He walked closer to mo-mo and slipped a message to her by voice
"I have a plan if it comes to it, if i start running you follow ok?I know you don't know me but trust me. . ."
Everything lied on what happened next, Kaska had a plan incase anything happened, but they all involved getting one person out, not two, and especially this group, but if it came to it, they could all escape this hell hole together. . .

Salidify broke out of his pity party as he heard the news about the hall moniter, it would be too late to go back to his room, and he knew he wouldnt be alone in escaping to a secluded location of the building" Damit" He whispered" none of them would have been there if it wasnt for me siting down out in the hallway" He smacked himself in the face and stood up. Remembering the building Blue prints he had seen, From when they had been studying blue prints in His Media Class, He stood up and quickly put together a plan. Even though he had always been cuaght in ever ysituation, he had always been able to escape from the situation first. Salidify had never been a trouble maker, but he had always known how to escape from trouble. turning the corner quickly he stared at the tiny group." Ok" He whispered just loud enough for them all to hear" Anyone who cant make it back to their room without being cuaght, follow me." He walked slowly to the Hallway he had been siting in before, leaving enough time For the rest of the kids to follow, There he waited for the others to arrive next to him.

He put the plan together piece by piece in his mind. He knew exactly how they were going to escape by the time he leaned against the wall, still waiting on the others to arrive. The first step would force the group to stick together and stay quiet, but the next part required a little more from each of them." I cant believe im doing this" he whispered to himself" Maye i might make some friends after all..." He silenced himself when a light flickered past his hallway." Come on come on Hurry up!" Those words seemed to echo in his mind while the floated around the small tight quarters of the hallway. He had his plan set up, and it was ready for action. Now all he had to do was wait.

Kaska, startled lunged at Salidify, holding him to the ground, " oh sorry man. ell since Sal can get you through this prediciment i bid you adu, later."
with a laugh Kaksa ran through the hall and turned the corner that sal was behind, he ran alondg and saw a door that lead to the twenties secron of the dorms, but it was locked, it was a good thing he had prepared a fake access card and slid it in, that night all he remembered hearing was a scream and running footsteps but meanwhile with the others. . . .
Kaska wasnt afraid of gettin caught, he just got bored and wanted to sleep, so he got there quick. . . BUT WAIT!!
i cant remember, did i give them my name?I hope not. . . .

Kazimo's mind spun with all the excitment and her violet eyes looked around wildly, the boy, Kaska who spoke to her first told Mo-mo to follow him, but since another boy named Salidify gave his help, she did not know who to follow. Then there was a new boy who came out of his room, mad like she was at first, that she didn't know and wondered what he would do. Why wont everyone just calm down! She sighed and started to follow Kaska, but soon turned back around running after Sal, "Where are we going?!" Her heart raced and pace quickened going towards Sal, long silvery hair trialing behind her wildly. I hope Kaska will be alright and those other boys...

Mo-mo wasn't scared or woried, just confused, what was she to do? Who was she to follow? Was there really a threat? She passed the boy who came out of his room madly, stopped to look at him, then went to catch up with Sal. "Come on everyone!" She called out, voice calm, but out of breath. I hope this will be over soon. One of her slippers fell off and she didn't bother stopping to get it, but just kicked off the other. He caught up with Sal and waited for him, "What should we do...?"

[guys this night is way to long so lets skipp to next morning]
The next morning was beautifull, and the kids were left outside for a feild day, the school was probobly being cleaned or fixed from his exploding act, lol.But as kaska was walking around the yard, so bored he could barely walk, he spotted mo-mo, the beautifull girl from last night,
I've barely known her but must try now
He ran to her, "Hey, um. . howz it goin?We- well i guess the reason i came over here is to ask to ask if. . . . you-wanted-to-go-get-a-soda." The last words poured too fast and he didn't know why, he had always been good with girls, but what now? Nonetheless he asked her and awaiting her replie while staring into her beautifull violet eyes he looked around, the varios students all having fun for once, a good omen hopefully. . .

[sorry to skip but lets just say you guys got out by running away ok cuz i think we all wanted to skip that night anyways.... . . .lol]

Salidify yawned while he climbed to his feet. He had passed out after guiding mo-mo back to her room. He streched out his arms and legs and took a quick glance around the room he was in. " It's not wierd that im in a janitors closet is it?" He smiled to himself and opened the door slowly. Apparently he had slipped into that area shortly before collapsing of exhuastion.As he stepped out he placed his hands in his pockets after shuting the door gently behind him." It is bad enough that i got her all in trouble almost, but after taking her back to her room, i didnt even say good night or anything." He quieted himself as he gazed out a window. all the kids were outside while he was still in the dorms" Damit!" Rushing past the nearest hall moniter, he placed his foot on the door and kicked it open. Before the person knew what was happening Salidify was outside and out of view.

Taking a break and breathing heavily, He sat down on a rock in the shade and watched all the kids playing together around the yard while he sat alone." Why cant i just go make friends with someone, its not hard all i have to do is say hello" he couldnt bring himself to talk to any of the other kids, he was way to shy. Suddenly he spotted kaska talking to Mo-Mo." Oh....i guess he deserves to be with her, i was a coward last night anyways." at the moment it seemed like just another normal day. He moved on to the ground and lay back, staring at the sky and the clouds as they passed. For the moment, he just wanted to be himself and not screw anything up for anyone. He closed his eyes and started to think about all the bad things again, Then he quickly pulled himself together before he had another pity party. he was getting better at keeping himself from breaking. He was holding everything in now, all the pain from the fires, all the pain from home, Everything. As long as he had himself, he would be ok. All he had to do was hold everything in.

Kazimo sat reading under a pink flowering tree, just reading her book, and the wind blowing softly making her hair sway. Her violet eyes looked up to see Kaska infront of her, "Oh...hello Kaska." She smiled slightly and listened to what he asked her. He wants to get a soda with me...? I guess I will go. The book dropped from her hands as she stood up, "Yes, I'd like to go and get a soda with you, Kaska." A blush formed on her cheeks as she saw him looking at her eyes, then she looked away, "Well, I'll follow..."
