Grand Theft Auto 4 has been delayed until May! Completely screwed up, huh? they shouldn't set dates unless they're sure it's enough time. But any GTA fans just have to wait.

Also, there's something that has me REALLY angry about GTA4. The Xbox 360 version gets 2 special downloadable expansion packs because MS gave Rockstar 50 million dollars! Seems like a dirty business tactic to screw over PS3 GTA fans!
I'm probably going to end up getting the game for Xbox 360 now (once I finally get one after they start using the new chips)... even though I really actually want it for Playstation 3! Also, downloadable expansions would probably work better on the PS3, since the PS3 has a hard drive by default while Core Xbox 360s don't have a hard drive.

Microsoft is discontinuing the Core and soon every game will need a hard drive and I'm hearing rumors that Microsoft will offer hard drives for Core users or offer them an upgrade. Plus how is it a dirty business act? Sony paid for many other games for the PS3, why shouldn't Microsoft and or Nintendo do the same?

This sucks though, hopefully they will improve upon the graphics as they are.

Yeah, I guess Sony may have done the same thing, but it's still a somewhat unfair tactic and they're just as guilty of it in that case.
And yeah.... maybe they will soon require hard drives for some games, but they're taking their time.
And damn it... I need to get an HD screen before I get the 360...

Oh, I saw a Wii on (I think) an HD display at Gamestop. It looked really nice, despite not using HDMI.

The delay annoys me, the downloadable content is somewhat dissapointing but im getting the game on PS3 anyway because the 360 controller is horrible. Unless the PS3 is horribly crippled in some way other than DLC im sticking to it.

I agree.. I don't have a problem with ps3 or 360 controllers... I mean.. a controller is a controller, if it fits in your hands and you can push buttons it's all good :D

Its fine for FPS games but any game involving driving or pretty much any thing else other than FPSs it just hurts my hand. The buttons are crappy, the Dpad is the worst I've seen, the battery pack gets in the way and it basically cramps my hands. Its not HORRIBLE but its nothing compared to Sixaxis, though I guess using the DualShock/SixAxis/PS1 controller for my entire gaming life has gotten me accustomed to it and only it.

I don't have any problems with any of the controllers, but I haven't tried the Xbox 360 controller once yet. I don't think it will bother me much though.

The current PS3 controllers do NOT have rumble, but they're going to release a rumble version sometime within... probably the next year or less. (because Immersion is now cooperating with Sony... they had a lawsuit over the rumble tech, but that's over now)

I assume the 360 controllers all have rumble.

<div class='quotetop'>(Zayne.H;20893)</div><div class='quotemain'>How the hell are the buttons crappy? I can agree with you with the D-Pad being horrible..but..

Plus I guess we are the opposite, I hate the Sixaxis, probably because all of the games that do use it, doesn't respond well and takes 6 seconds to respond.</div>

Where Gamecube or PS controllers have "soft" buttons with smooth flat surfaces, the 360 controllers have fugly "gems" that are rather hard and dont feel all to nice. A game that involves heavy use of any of the face buttons eventually lead to sore finger tips. Maybe it's just me, but your opinion doesnt factor into what version of GTAIV I get anyway.

And yeah, the actual tilt control part of the Sixaxis is mostly just a fairly useless gimmick that was a lame recovery for lack of rumble, but that shouldnt really affect how you see the controller as a whole anyway since the amount of usage the tilt control gets is minimal at best.

The real problems with Sixaxis? For one the two triggers are less than fantastic, I got used to them, but the triggers on the 360 are certainly better since they go inward then back out (whats the word again? Concave?), whereas the Sixaxis trigger just kinda slopes off into nothingness alowing your finger to slip off. Secondly theres no rumble but that'll be fixed soon I'm sure, and lastly is the fact that the controller occasionally loses signal with the system for a few seconds.

But at least you dont have to buy a Play N Charge pack :/
