I went to walmart early in the evening... (Wii/PS3 topic)

Right outside, there were a couple people with backpacks and stuff. One of them said "I should probably just call off from work for tomorrow" or something like that. I'm pretty sure at least one of them was one of the few people that's going to get a PS3. Walmart only has about 6... and only one or two were the 599 system.... some others are getting rain checks. I only heard one of the guys in electronics answering people's questions... so I could be a little off since I didn't talk to him myself. What is the point of being there THAT early though? Walmart is open 24 hrs.

Anyone else see people that are going to camp or wait overnight for the PS3 or Wii? Know anyone that's going to?

Heh, Stephen just got in line last night here in town and there were about 20, he was the seventh in line of about eleven. And guess what? He got 5!

And Josh's review of it is coming soon on the board. And so will my Wii review! And Twlight Princess!

LOL... people are desperate.. and from my experience.. NEVER get the 1st gen... like my xbox.. is the 2nd gen.. = less recalls = less problems.... + I'm not desperate enough to.. wait outside somewhere for a console system.... I have a life... unlike those people waiting outside.... they need to socialize more often.... >.>

i have a bb gun, but the problem with that scenario is that a bb gun is considered a deadly weapon so i'd get the same charges as if i did a real drive-by.

Tents went accross both sides of my local best buy. I would've joined, but by 8PM on the 16th I really had no chance. No way would I stay out a week like some of those other freaks did....

I know, I used to be one of the "freaks" out there, but now we get them at the office a week before it comes out.

Oh well I am off to play the last 30 hours of Twilight Princess
