Left my cell phone in the rain

That was pretty dumb!

I took the battery and SIM card out to dry them with a blowdryer. Then, I left it in front of a fan for about...2 hours?

The phone still works just fine!

Thats a relief.

I don't really have to worry because I have a weather-proof case for my iPhone.

That's not a bad idea.

Anyway, there was some condensation under the screen, but it's dried up now and I have had no problems at all.

So what cell phone do you use?

Samsung t619. I got it almost a year ago. It's a very nice phone, but I was disappointed when I found out it didn't have a microSD slot. I wanted to use it as an MP3 player, but that's not really possible with only 21 MB of space. Instead of getting another phone, I went out and bought a cheap RCA Lyra with 512 MB of space and an SD card slot.

One time my brother dropped his in a puddle of water. It still works fine.

Yep. Mine is still okay too.

YEah I got drenched once and mine died, after it dried off, it resurrected.

My favorite though was this lady on a radio contest, the contest involved destroying your phone on air, she putt the thing in a blender and it wouldn't die, finally the dj was like thats a nice phone.
