Can missile launchers shoot ground units now?

It would certainly appear so in this picture...

or maybe the missile launchers can only shoot at the colossus because they're so tall. Hm...

I think its the latter. Turrets should be surface-to-air missiles only.

I agree with Zergling, the Collosi are simply so large, the Missile Turrets can addapt to fire at them aswell as air units.

Would be cool to have some upgrades for Missile Turrets, such as fire rate, damage, range, etc... to be able to customize base defenses to some degree, wouldn't you think?

It would be nice to have more versatile defenses for the terrans. They have always had a large focus on defense with the combination of turrets, tanks, and bunkers.

The collosus is extremely vlunerable to both air- and ground-based attacks it seems. Could there be more units of this particular type to come?

that means the collosus would get owned in major engagements:(

i heard that there are new units that can attack both air and ground each with seperate cooldown. the new battlecruiser is one. this sounds awesome to me:)

Once again, I wish to know where you "heard" this information from.

Hmm, wikipedia's legitimacy is debateable. I would not be surprised if many people would throw in their own educated guesses just as we do here and present it as "official".

If they have two different cooldowns can they have two different attacks? Who else would like to see a Hyrdalisk rip through a marine with their long claws? See a Marine stab a Zergling with their bayonets?

i always wondered why they had bigass scythes but attacked with their spine launchers.

anyway, with the 2 cooldowns/two attacks idea, this could be executed very interestingly for terran, for exampe, a battle mech that has its main gun, perhaps a laser, plus a secondary machine gun, or as we have already seen, the mother ship has like 4 lasers that all shoot on their own. i personally see a the siege tanks being able to load up a marine, enabling it to have a secondary gunner eliminaiting its weakness to lings and such. but then they'd just be two damn good.

Yeah, school computers are all locked up tight. You'd be hard pressed to find a fun sight that wasn't blocked.

Hmm, I'm half surprised that wikipedia isn't blocked. In my experience most of my teachers wouldn't accept information from it.

Because most of it is true. Quite a bit of it is not, but there is a good portion of infromation there.

off topic as well...im guessing that the collosi would now be only used after a first wave of zealots quickly knock them out. otherwise collosi are now gonna take huge damage in a base attack.

The idea behind Collossi is that they can completely annhialate large masses (with support), but they take a beating while the do it.
