^ I think so.. but that might have just been another rumor. Like Super Smash Brothers Deluxe. :O
This game looks.. incredible. I've been a fan of Super Smash Brothers since the first one came out, and I still play both the original, and melee. At the end of this post, I'll even tell you guy's my characters ;D
I guess there's a new special ability item? Link's special attack looks awesome. If no one noticed, it's the SSBM insignia in an orb. I'm looking forward to it coming out.. hopefully I'll be able to use MetaKnight well.
My character for the Original SSB is kirby.. don't know why, but I was strangely attracted to his pretty much float ability xD
In SSBM I use Marth/Dr. Mario.
Hopefully they don't make Kirby suck, like in melee.. rofl.. I couldn't use him.. =[

Usually with the chatacters i've seen from their past 2 games is keep the ones from the last and add a few. But how many and who is the question lol.
Also I wanna know how there gonna fit more characters on the select screen ><
Keeping characters from older games and adding new ones helps keep games alive cause you can play as someone from a Classic or be someone new lol

Speaking of older games I wouldn't be surprised if they added something like Paper or baby Mario....They already have a lot of Mario's lol.

Paper Mario would be funny to see lol I want to see what Zero Suit Samus is capable of! I wonder if she'll live up to her Space Suited Counterpart?

Maybe.. but I doubt it. Samus ( suited ) is godly. My friend used to be REALLY good with her, and I could use her to a reasonable extent. But the only weapon she has in zero suit ( that I can tell ) is the whip.. which could be effective.. but I suspect that she'll just be fighting with her hands/whip only. But, who knows.. She might be better than the original suited samus.
I'm hoping they have a few more characters to add, other than the ones shown in Brawl. I think it would kind of suck to know all of the characters already.. and especially when there isn't that many. Maybe they'll add Baby Mario/Baby Luigi, or even Walliugi? that would be awesome.
Zero Suit Samus?....Damn I smell another crappy copy characterwith different strength and weight ratio.... -.-
Just a heads up for those who didnt know. http://www.smashbros.com/ the official brawl site has a counter set for japan time that should end on monday. The Site is supposed to go under an update, which many believe will reveal either a new trailer, new characters or maybe even more. LET THE COUNTDOWN CONTINUE!!!
I sure as hell cant do that, once I got Melee, going back to the original was so hard, the small selection of characters...the slowness....then when I saw the Brawl trailer, I cant even play Melee, I keep saying "YOU'RE NOT PIT!!" "SAMUS! GET OUT YOUR DAMN SUIT!"
He's too highly expected, to that point where it would be a surprise that he WONT be in the game. I just cant see him in that game...with his horrible english voice acting...But they should lower the amount of Mario's and Links. Mario is fine, we dont need Dr. Mario. Link is okay, without the Young Link. If they make a Multiple Suit option, then it would be great, but otherwise, character clones just dont appeal so much to me.
Most people were happy when Sonic and the Secret Rings had an option for Japanese Voice acting, because that was a major downfall for the 3d sonics, the voice acting that just doesnt seem too great and horribel. Sonic's not much for a hand-to-hand combat guy anyway.
