"The Call Of The Battlefield"
Name: Masashi Yamada
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Masashi stands at about 6’2” in stature. He has long white hair that goes down slightly under his soldier. His bangs go down and cover the area where his ears would be. He has two holsters on his back for his weapons. He wears a white jacket with a white shirt underneath it as well. His white cargo pants stretch down pass his knees and almost cover his entire feet area. His black eyes glimmer against light, sometimes even blinding some people. His nose is slightly crooked in appearance. His hands and fingers are both covered by white gloves to cover up his past endeavors in the war. His white boots cover his feet. Basically, he is covered in white from head to toe.
Personality: Masashi acts as he looks, very responsibly. He use to be a clown, but once his parents died, he never wanted to feel the same feeling again, so now he acts as a responsible teenager. He does act like an idiot occasionally, but he is always willing to help anyone, even if it means to lose his own life. Though, occasionally he becomes very depressed. This is only when he is reminded of his horrible past or of someone’s death that was very close to him.
Kingdom: Light
Group: Shining Altar
Status: Paladin (Basically, a Knight who can use white magic)
Weapon: Two large diamond swords. The handles of the swords are covered in Rubies and Emeralds. The tip of the sword has been sharpened so it deeply cuts on impact. The swords might look as though they were heavy, but they are actually very light, made for light and heavy attacks. The weapons slices very fast and can destroy many things.
Arcanum (Yon told me that I could make an appearance for it since I am going to use it): The handle in decorated with dark stones, that almost look as if they are obsidian. The handle has four spikes sticking out of the four corners on the handle. The blade is a cylinder shape. The color of it is black, or dark blue. The blade was made of dark sedimentary rock. It is very hard and cannot break easily. At the tip of the blade it has three pointed arches coming out of it. On the tip of those arches there are two other little blades sticking out of both sides. On the handle there is also a sharp pointed tip at the top. Used for stabbing his enemies.
Physical Attacks: Slicing Fury: Masashi slices his blade around in different directions. The slicing is very fast and all of it happens very fast. If completed correctly, he may be able to use it as a finisher. The blade slices right through his opponent in the end and cuts him in half.
Destroying Uppercut: Masashi slices his opponent in unison with kicking him in the face. As the opponent is off guard, he slices he/she into the air and then jumps up and slices them into the ground.
Killing Blow: Masashi connects a long chain of heavy attacks. At the final blow, he flips backwards and then slices his two blades heavily at his opponent.
Special Attack: Deadly Darkness: Masashi moves his hands around his body in different signs. As he finishes, darkness forms an aura around his opponent. Masashi then throws his hands in the direction of his opponent and the darkness flies around their body, making everything invisible to them. Masashi then uses his hands to make his opponent experience horrible events in his life, but he changes his friends and family into theirs.
Luminescence: Masashi takes his blade and starts to stab or cut himself around his body. The energy taken out of his body is transported over to his friends that would be fighting with him. Depending on the degree of attack. Basically, if he cuts himself a little bit, they will receive a bit of energy, if he kills himself, then they receive all of his energy. This can also be used as an attack against his opponent.
Ark Blast: Masashi adjusts his body with his blade straight in front of him. He taps into his life energy and deposits that energy into his blade. The energy turns into a lightning sort of substance and shoots at his opponent, greatly damaging him/her.
Bio: Masashi was born of a rich family. Even when he was two months old, he was already receiving many fines gifts. His father was the captain of the Dark Knights when he was a young child. When he was about two years old, his father began to teach him the ways of the warrior. He received his first sword when he was about four years old. Before that age, he was just practicing with sticks. His mother had died when she gave birth to him, so he was the only thing he had left. And Masashi loved his father, though he was often depressed that he never met his mother. The only thing he could see her in was the countless pictures and portraits of her around his house.
Masashi lived in a large village. He had countless friends around the village. He would often spar with them during the boring days. He beat them all, they never knew how great he was with the sword and often asked for rematches. This was their primary downfall. When Masashi was about nine he received his father’s swords. These swords would come to be his most cherished items.
For the next two years, Masashi life was great. He had a loving father, many friends. Lots of items. Nothing seemed like it could make his life horrible…then tragedy struck. Masashi came home one day and ran up to his room. It was rather late at night. He went up to his room and then went to bed. Late at night, he heard faint screaming coming from outside his window. He sat up and looked out the window. He saw some army coming over the horizon, and flaming arrows flying around the city. His eyes widened and then saw some people dead on the ground, they must of fell out of their windows or they were walking on the street when it happened. Masashi sprung into action and took his two blades. He was going to try and fend himself off, as his father told him too.
Masashi sat on his bed looking out the window. He saw the creatures running around the city. They weren’t anything like he ever saw before. They were little black things. The best warriors could not take them down. But along with these creatures, there were also various men and archers. Masashi soon heard a yell come out of the foyer. He ran outside his room and saw his father fighting off the men, but not the creatures. He just looked over the beam of the third floor. He stared down and saw that his father was not fighting the best he could. Masashi was about to run down to help him, but, suddenly, his father was stabbed through the chest. Then, as the sword was through his chest, the men decapitated him. Masashi saw the blood stained on the ground and tears started to stream from his eyes. The tears plopped down to the ground, into the blood, making a sound. The men knew that someone was upstairs so Masashi toughens up and grits his teeth. The anger through his body made him run down the stairs with the blades at his sides. He ran down to the men and started to slice through them. He fought them off, but saved the one that he knew was the one who killed his father. Masashi took his head and shoved him into the ground. He took his blade and sliced through his neck, taking his head off. As he stood up he said, “Good riddance.”
Masashi went up to his room and sat on his bed in front of the door. He sobbed all night about his father’s death, but once the sun started to arise, he walked out of his house and saw the entire village destroyed. He sat down on his knees as a shock went through his heart. He felt horrible. The power of his emotions got the best of him and all he could do was cry. All his friends were dead. Masashi cried for at least five minutes until he got himself together and started to walk around the village. The powerful pain he felt in his body destroyed him in that village. So, the next day, he left that village to go seek guidance from the Elders of Light and Darkness. The Elders of Darkness didn’t really give him any advice, but the Elders of Light gave him one thing of advice. He was to climb Mount Ordeals, to see if he was worthy of becoming a Paladin, then he would come back, and try his luck with white magic.
Masashi was 14 at the time he thought he was ready to go up Mt. Ordeals. He made his way up the trail, hoping that he would make this trip up to find guidance. He ran into some creatures on the mountain, but he defeated them with ease. Everything started to look clear as he made his way to the summit and looked over the top of the mountain. Looking down at the rocky way below, he kicked a rock to see how far down it was. He watched it until he couldn’t see it anymore. He looked over and saw a black shrine on the other side of a bridge. He made his way across the bridge and entered the shrine. He looked around the empty room, all he could see was a mirror looking back at him. He stared into it and soon a booming voice yelled out, “To see if you are ready for the ways of the Paladin, you must face your former self.” He soon was lifted into the air and his once black clothes were turned white and his hair started going down his shoulders. As he was examining his new outfit, a clone of his old self walked out of the mirror. The clone threw his blades out and then started to attack Masashi. He just didn’t feel the need to fight, so Masashi started to heal himself whenever the swords hit impact on his body. As the fight came to an end, the clone faded and he had to climb down the mountain.
When Masashi returned, he started his training in the arts of a Paladin. He was taught White Magic, sword skills, and even ranged attacks. Masashi went through this training for two and a half years, and when he was sixteen and a half, he was transported over to the Kingdom of Light. As he entered, he immediately went to the king, Keireki, and requested a position in the Shining Altar. After Masashi impressed him, Keireki gave him a position in the Shining Altar. And now, Masashi currently resides in that kingdom, in a fairly large mansion. Though, Masashi gave most of his money to the poor, because they needed it more then he did.
