The Firebat Returns!

Its not official yet, but today a new picture was realeased featuring the firebat. It is back in running! PLEASE BLIZZARD DONT CUT HIM AGAIN!

The resolution could be better, but the firebat simply looks beautiful. it reminds me of the flamethrower from the halo series, the firebat's new look is in my opinion the best thought of along with the mothership, collosus, and immortal.

yeah, i saw that too...i frankly think it's a bad idea, this will force the firebat to be produced in the mid-game, from what i remember of them they were only really useful in the early game. perhaps blizzard has given them enough hitpoints and armour to survive midgame, i sure hope so.

CANT WAIT TO SEE FIREBATS VS ZERGLINGS!

i didnt use them much when i played, but now i see there usefulness, would be great to see them back especialy if i can use them later game which is when i normaly start to build up a ok army

I think for most people it's not their usefulness that mattered. It was their coolness. I mean, they had cool speeches and a cool concept, it would of been too much of a pity to remove them just cause they were underused.
