<span style="color:DarkOrchid">I hardly doubt things "suck" for you. You want shitty? How about living in a third world country your entire life, living off trash scraps and never having a future because of social oppression? How about never even seeing a computer, a video game, a movie, or a never even being able to read a book? How about living the life of a person going through an extermination camp during world war II, where yourself and all of your loved ones are starved and tortured to death.

I'm sorry I'm in such a blunt mood, but I think on a scale of 1 to 10 on how things suck for you in this world, you'd be a pretty solid fucking 1. Somebody delete this thread, as I don't see a single justification for it.</span>

All right, I have some things to say here...

<div class='quotetop'>(F.Y.C.N.;20324)</div><div class='quotemain'>I hardly doubt things "suck" for you. You want shitty? How about living in a third world country your entire life, living off trash scraps and never having a future because of social oppression? How about never even seeing a computer, a video game, a movie, or a never even being able to read a book? How about living the life of a person going through an extermination camp during world war II, where yourself and all of your loved ones are starved and tortured to death.</div>

Sometimes when I think of that when I'm depressed, it just makes me feel worse... cause I start to feel bad about feeling bad, which doesn't help one bit. Cause why should anyone have to feel that way? They shouldn't have to deal with the unfortunate condition of their lives and I shouldn't have to deal with the less significant but still depressing thing that I'm dealing with at the time. But every once in a while, thinking of people that have it worse off than me does work. Either way, what you said was the truth, so it had to be said. Those people deserve much more than the crappy lives fate's given them. :(

Also, you even admitted this yourself... which is very... honorable, I suppose.... but that post was kinda unnecessarily blunt. Next time, try to say the same thing without being so... hostile.
This actually goes out to everyone. We need to make this forum a more welcoming place. If people get blunt, hostile responses to their topics, (especially new members) then they just won't bother making topics at all and they might even leave completely. We do not want that. We don't want to scare people away.

And Steph, you might want to put topics like this on your own user board next time.
And I'm sorry I didn't reply first last night.

From what you've told me, you have a good chance with him. So don't feel so bad. He hasn't rejected you. You just have to figure out a way to test whether he likes you or not, as you thought of earlier. Or work up the courage to just ask him if he wants to do something sometime.

Of course you are, that's natural. You don't know for sure yet. But try not to worry too much.

Well, in a way, you do like him too much in the sense that you barely know him yet. You have talked to him, but not a lot. You haven't really spent much time together and you don't really have any contact outside of work.
It's not necessarily completely bad, except for the fact that you don't know for sure what he thinks of you. If it turns out that nothing ever happens or you get together and it doesn't work out, then you shouldn't let it mess up your life.

BUT... it does seem like there's a very good chance that he likes you.

And it's slightly hard to believe I'm the one giving you all this advice. :weird:

To Steph: Sorry about that guy probably not liking you. If he doesn't then he isn't good for you, and you are too good for him. Right now just put your foot in the water and test things out. Try to find common ground with him and see if you like it.

My ranting:

I JUST CLOSED THIS, I AM A SUPER MOD, SO WHEN EVER AN ADMIN OR ANOTHER MOD OR SUPER MOD RE OPENS A THREAD SOMEONE ELSE CLOSED, AT LEAST TELL THEM! GOOD ****ING GOD!

She reopened it to respond to the topic and to say the reason why she was unhappy. And I don't think you've been around since she unlocked it. But also, admins (and maybe mods, but I'm not sure what the settings are) can post in locked topics anyway. I kinda understand your anger... and you were right to close it in the first place to stop further hostility, but the reopening of the topic was justified, so there's no problem. And why should the closer of the topic have to be notified when there's no real reason other than to let the person know? There definitely isn't anything wrong with notifying the mod, but there just isn't any reason either... he'll see it when he goes to the topic.

Anyway Steph, yeah, you've kinda known him for a while. You did tell me that before, but I forgot. Still, you don't REALLY know him yet. And if he likes you too, then you will get the chance to know him in the future.

The closer of the thread should be notified when the topic he or she closed is re-opened again because it should let them know that the topic is now under control.

Zayne, once you close it, it's not your fault if someone else opens it back up. So once you do that, you don't have to worry about it unless a new problem starts.
It's the chain of command. If an admin overrides a mod's decision.... well, then that's just how it is. The admin has the power to do that. It happens constantly on big forums and sometimes the mods might not even find out about it. :eyepop:

And Steph, yes. That's why there is a big chance that maybe he likes you too.
