But it's not. Religion comes from stories, and myths. If the human race wasn't so weak-minded, religion would not be needed.

Yes, religion does a lot of good when it comes to minor things, I know this.

But so do non-believers.

And I'm not saying religion only does bad.

But religion is so unlogical, and so inane.

Did we all miss the moral from the South Park episode?? lol just kidding.

I feel religion even if it's a bunch of myths and lies is vital. It keeps people sane. It gives us hope. If you get rid of religion so many things will go wrong. Rate of suicide will go up, crime rate, and yes even more wars will accour. Think about it. In a world without religion there are no morals..Maybe its an exageration but..people will fear rules less. And at the same time they will fear more.

No morals? I take VERY high offense to that. I have my own morals, unprejiduced by religious faith. Religion makes our morals prejiduce, close-minded, and unjust. It's 'moral' to pray to god, and not allow medicine for your own child? Yeah, go kill yourself. Pray to god, fine, but don't turn down medicine that is PROVEN to work.

Killing someone? Meh, I disagree with it, and the hundreds of reasons for it, but I don't see it as bad or good.

Rape? Destestable. Enough said.

Hurting someone on purpose? Cruel, unintelligent, and wrong.

Saying the world would be without morals without religion is a very unintelligent thing to say. The 'universe' as far as we know of it, is Amoral. We, man, created morals to justify one action, and say another is wrong because we disagree with it.

Only those to stupid to stand up for what they believe in fear rules. Yes, I believe we need rules to live in a semi-peace state.

Stealing food for your children when you get screwed by a big company? Fine by me.

Stealing food cause your hungry*like, you want a candy bar or something*, and you don't have money to pay for it? Good untill you get caught.

You are trying to appeal to everyone with your "no good or bad speach". VERY BAD IDEA.
Morals were not created by man, they were created by GOD, who ahs existed forever. The close mindedness of people allow them to blot out the truth that there is a God, there is a heaven and a hell, and you ARE going to one or the other someday. Its called denial. There is good, there is bad, anyone who says different is a very confused individual. Everything your talking about is based on perception, AND WHAT PEOPLE WANT IT TO BE. The events that took place in the bible were not perceptions, they happened one way and one way only. There is ony one truth, not two versions of the same truth, one. Illogical? TO THINK THAT ANY HUMAN CAN DECIDE WHAT THE MEANING OF LIFE IS, is illogical. People make me sick when they try to prove there points with the sadest forms of logic on this planet. And anyone dimwitted enough to ignore the truth, well, I feel sorry for you.

You, friend, are an idiot. Truth is something that has facts that make it true. There are no facts, no evidence to prove such a thing.

And I never said there is no bad, or no good. But we see what we want as good or bad. We made morals to justify our actions, and live in a civilized life-style. 'Murder' is seen as bad. Why? Because you're taking away life from someone, their souls.

I don't believe in souls, just a sentient brain. I would never kill someone, but I don't see it as wrong, or right. It just is.

And God's been around forever? Who made him/her? And when was forever? Either way, He was made by someone or something. He can't have been around since the beginning, because he would of had to have been the beginning, which is illogical.

We will never know the meaning of life. But we can think of a reason to live, and that becomes 'our' meaning for life. We were created by evolutionary process. Simple logic and evidence can tell you that.

This universe, if it is the only one, has been around for about 15 billion years. The sun will implode in 5 billion years. Homo-sapiens will evolve into something else eventually. Simple logic.

God is something people believe in because they want hope they can't find elsewhere because they're pathetic.

And most people now don't even know why they believe in God. Why? Because they were abused as children into following their parents theology.

I believe in God. I believe in a religion, not saying which. Frankly i think God is not the problem. People are the problem. God dont kill ppl. Ppl kill Ppl. Right now my faith in ppl is limited. So i go to my services, live life as i think God wants me to, and i do my own thing. I dont associate with everyone cuz obviously ppl read the bible differently. If there was no religion....the world would either do two things, get worst or, get worst. Religion is what keep ppl from being extremely stupid just as it makes ppl stupid. That's my opinion.
