Anti-Canadian? Why?

actually where I live we hate the french if it was upto the western side mostly they would allow quebec to seperate from us. The have stupid rules they want and if they win an election ever they will make canada a frenchy place and I will have to become terminator and rebel...... but I gotta say americans are nice, well when I went to florida everyone was.... and I was expecting they'd say hey go back to ur land or start a fight......

Now, as far as the war situation, a lotta people sometimes bring up the subject on why we "hide" behind the Americans in war and not do a thing to help them?

See, the thing is, the Americans brought a lotta their problems upon themselves. The whole bombing thing, the 9/11 thing, the capture Saddam thing, and us Canadians had NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING to do with it, so we basically think its America's problem, America can handle their own problems kinda deal, and not choose to risk losing lives of our citizens at the risk of helping defend another country, that is already probably the strongest military-wise anyway in the world.

Man, holy ****, what the ****. Bush brought problems onto us, we didn't. And do you think if you got attacked by terrorists that we would just sit here and watch you all get killed. Hell no, because we're willing to put ourselves on the line to help another.

I really don't wanna get into this whole thing, but holy ****, after reading that ****, I had to post something.

So that's why were not worried, we don't care about what happens in other countries, we just lay back, worry about our own business and who cares about everyone else kinda deal really.

well technically the terriost list was like this......

USA, Spain, UK, Aussie, Canada...... the 1st were bombed already now 2 are left. Aussie is next.... so if your living there be warned..... I think there is a chance they might attack in canada but theres not much too attack besides our skytrains and buses. We don't have tall buildings here or much ways they can mass kill people.

I'm sure they will attack every place they mentioned but it's all about priority......

As for Bush I feel sorry for the american's the reason why terrioist are gonna attack is because of bush and for that the americans have to suffer.... im guessing because americans elected Bush, people like Bin Ladin believe well if the people elected him then they should suffer tooo.... you know what I mean

And about the whole "Bush brought the problems upon us" well that can be turned around simply as the fact that YOU Americans elected and re-elected him, so the majority of the USA was proven to approve of Bush and his decisions.

Well I'm not american but I was hoping Kerry would win or back before Gore was my fav guy! Gore is the only american pres. I'd actually bow down to as a canadian.... too bad hes history now...... oh well america will have to suffer now.... Us canadian might also as Harper is in control......

Yeah, Harper will try to **** us up. Even though Paul Martin made a few errors, I have an uneasy feeling that with Harper and his Conservatives that Canada will only be a matter of time before people dislike living in the country. :/

This is unfrotunately true. Bush is the one dragging us into all of this...But I don't understand many of the politics. Ever heard of, "Who uses power will lead to ultimate destruction?" Well, right now, that's where we are heading.

true but the thing is its like a gang and you picking a leader. Now if that leader starts a fight with another group2 then the group2 will attack anyone of group1's members even if they only had a fight with there leader.

It's like that you elected someone to represent you unforunetly he's making USA look bad and then since you trusted he was going to be a good guy you have to take the pain and suffering with him. I feel sorry for the new president because he has to clean up bush's mess and lets hope the next guy is a nice one who can talk it through instead of start **** with countries.....

Yeah, the new President is going to have to do alot about it. Hopefully he/she can, and I hope they aren't as much of a mistake as Bush was/is. If I did have the power to vote, it would have been for Gore or Kerry. It's not that ALL Americans are stuck up and are trying to get attention. A large majority of the people in America, like I myself dont agree with a lot of things Bush has done. Like other people have said, he is making the United States look like a bad country. We may be the richest country in the world, but I dont care about that. I think Bush is taking a little advantage to that and he's trying to make the US look good, when he's doing just the opposite.

Also many people from other countries assume, just because someones American, that that person is stuck up and war hungry or w/e and takes advantage because they live in the richest country of the world. Not all of us are like that. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that, I'M not like that and I think that this world could get along better. Never look at something as a whole, and not take the time to see the little sections. There's always gonna be problems somewhere though and that wont change. I'm not one to talk about this stuff much, because I dont like getting into arguments. I hope no one hates me now.

Iridescent Rose, dun't worry I dun't hate you I agree with you though. I understand people wanting to attack america but its really Bush they want. The 9/11 thing I think shouldn't have happent. If you wanna hurt someone I think you should hurt them not other people or there family. I say if bin ladin got bush I wouldn't care but what he did at the trade center was wrong.... I mean even I sorta hate bush but I wouldn't hurt others for his mistakes.....

As for american at 1st I judged everyone till i visted Florida and other places and yes quote "most" people were very nice and treated me like a normal person, except the airport in seattle. one of the guys there was a racist ***** who kept checking me and saying **** about my race without actually even knowing what my relgioin is and instead assumming im this relgion or that.

So not all americans are bad but I did experience more stares and me and such in the states that here in canada..... here everyone is multicultural or where I live atleast I mean we pretty see people here as one person even if ur black, white, brown, asian etc... here everyone is cool but I noticed some people in states are racisit or you can hear them whispering about u saying look over there......

Overall though I know alot of americans are nice people its just too bad the ones that are pricks make the rest of the good ones look bad..... but yes I do hope a new president will come soon and that there isn't gonna be a war, just get the troops out and peace it all out. What's done is done..... time to move on now.

lol I just went to Canada, Came back to day for a vaction. First off i wanna say the weather there is a perfect scenery when your watching the sunset. Also Canada through my eyes is... laid back. I cant see the reason why some people are hatin on Canadians?? Is it because they never hear anything about them or anything? I dunno but there haters everywhere

Rika we know some Canadians. No offense but some Canadians think there better then everyone else. The ones i have met are like that.

Note i said SOME not ALL. The Canadians here that i do know are awesome.
