Brothers are trouble...

My brother told me he was going to watch something (which is recorded on MY DVR). I told him I want to watch it too, but he won't let me. Then he said he won't watch it at all because I'm in the room. I then told him that I'll watch it myself then, but he wouldn't give me the fucking remote! I punched him (not something I usually do), but he still wouldn't give it to me. So I left the room and told him not to watch it. If he did, I'd either disrupt his viewing or I'd walk in and start watching it. He still has the damn remote, too!

Also, he got an iPod last night.
I was going to buy his old 5GB RCA for $40, but he wanted to charge me $80... that was how much it was new! Even though I gave him a 256MB flash drive, PS2, and a tv (which he used for a week, then got a new one) for FREE... he wouldn't let me buy the MP3 player for $40. He did say I could buy it at one point, but then he upped it to $50, then again to $60 less than a minute later... and I told him it doesn't work that way... you don't raise the price and still expect the other person to buy it! I'll probably get a Zen Vision or an iPod of my own sometime, so I guess it doesn't matter too much.

My dad agreed to buy the MP3 player from him for 60. Guess what? My brother suddenly decides that he would have changed his mind and gave it to me for 40. yeah right... he's only saying that because my dad already agreed to buy it for 60.

I won't necessarily hold a grudge over this, but I WILL think twice next time before giving him something for free. Maybe I'll give him a good price, but I'll charge him next time!

You told me about the ipod thing already, but the TV thing is just childish; he couldn't watch the damn show with you? That's ridiculous. You need to either beat him down, or have a REALLY serious talk with him, and straighten him out; you can't let him keep acting like that, bro.

Oh shit, it's Infamous.

<_<

You're family is your test for the "real world", mang. If you can't handle(or how you do handle) an overly annoying little brother shows how you'll handle it when something on the outside does something similar. You're bound to get on each others nerves, I mean, you live together.

Normally I'd say beat his little ass and make him wear a dress. But I don't think you'd do it. <_<

Yeah, I guess family members are kinda there to test you.

I can handle him, but he's just pretty annoying sometimes. It's really completely stupid sometimes too. There's no point in saying I can't watch a show at the same time.. except I guess to piss me off.

If I kicked his ass, then I really would possibly be OUT in the real world. I mean, I don't know for sure, but I don't want to test it. Plus I'd just rather not beat up my own brother, even if he does piss me off sometimes. :weird:

BTW, he never did watch the show. XD

Hmm, I've always wondered what it would be like to have a sister, but I'll never know.

Anyway, my brother isn't always like this. A lot of the time we get along just fine.

I am so fucking sick of his damned... egocentric attitude! He starts shit over such stupid things too!

Today, there wasn't much soda/pop in the fridge. I said something like "Damn, why'd we all forget to put something in there?" And then he bitches like a little brat "Why are you blaming me? I put pop in every day!"

You don't have to even mention his name. You just have to say someone did something, then he whines "stop blaming me!" WTF?! Does he feel so guilty that he has to whine when I'm not even singling him out or blaming any one person in the first place?!

Not to mention... he DID put a couple cans in... just a few... but I really wasn't trying to blame him... I was thinking more of myself and my aunt forgetting to put stuff in. And I wasn't acting like this: "OMG WE'RE ALL A BUNCH OF DAMNED IDIOTS! ESPECIALLY YOU!" So why did he even say anything if he actually did put something in anyway?!

Damn pointless drama!

So... why don't you act like that? Let him know how much worse it could be.

Nah, that just doesn't work. It makes him do the same thing. What works is trying not to argue with him while still not letting him get his way every time... more to it though. And I don't hate him, but he's good at pissing me off at times.

? Nobody is implying you hate him, man, relax. He is a dickhead though, that much I will say, and you can't just keep letting things go like they are...letting him get an attitude over bullshit and then even if he gets his way or not, he got to be a little asshole and make a big fight out of it >_>. The reasons he's doing it could be many, but what you need to remember is that it's most likely your typical teenage cry for attention. I dunno if you could do stuff with him more often(maybe teach him to play a complex video game that he's never tried before?) to try and ease the tension, but if you don't want to solve the problem by force you really better start talking to him. Let him act like this too long and he might get too used to it, you know?
