Digg now has ads from Microsoft. But, Microsoft has the ability to control what ads can be shown (Meaning full advertisement control) and Microsoft can now fill digg with any ad it wants and Microsoft will probably use that power to change frontpage stories being critical of it to good ones about them, and delete any Pro- Apple/ Linux stories to Anti-Linux/ Apple stories. This has happened to many other websites with the same deal and it is basically selling out their rights of being a democratic website with minimal moderation from a third party.

No, Microsoft didn't buy digg. It has pretty much sold itself over to Microsoft since now Microsoft can control ad content and soon frontpage stories. It's not MSN ads, it's real MICROSOFT ADS. I was talking about how Digg sold out it's whole apple/ Linux fanbase since our stories will be now filled with Pro- Microsoft stories since Microsoft can say" This story seems like an Ad for Apple, and we want it removed"

Wow, this is a surprise. Digg isn't really known to be a site of a million MS fans either.
Are you sure they'll actually be able to request the deletion of articles? If so, that's pathetic! And something will probably eventually replace Digg in that case.
