ok i finally managed to walk to a computer. time for me to explain a bit.
it all started last thursday. i was having pains running from the right side of my stomach to my right thigh. i figured it was nothing so i ignored it. then i woke up at friggin 2 AM(school night, mind you) with harsher pains in the same area. i told my mom and she let me stay home. so i stayed home and vomited a few times. then i went to patient first on saturday and they told me it was gastricitis(when all the gases in yuor system slow down dramatically) and told me to take some pepto bismol. well the next day, i was in pain so bad i thought there was a knife cutting down my side. so we went back to patient first. they said it was outta thier league and sent me to the ER. heres how bad it was. you know when you go to the doctors office they make you wait in the waiting room for hours? they bumped my case up to the top of the list. when we left at 11 pm there were people still waiting bwfore we went in. but thats not the point. anyway, we got to ER and they gave me the IV(the waterbag thing they goes into your arm) and ran some tests. then they took me to the Xray and Ultrasound rooms. i got both, Xray didnt tell much but the Ultrasound told us something was wrong. (on another note, ultrasounds are uncomfortable. they cover you in this cold gel before they do it... ew) i still dont quite understand what it was, but it was something like there was a flap of skin or a pump or something in my intestines that was twisted or messed up. they then put me under anesthesia and did some surgery. after i woke up, i found myself on my stretcher, in a completely different room. the doctors let me get dressed again(my parents still had my clothes and i was in one of those gowns) and put me in a wheelchair. then they wheeled me to the pickup area and let me get in the car. then i went home. yeah, not very interesting but i figured youd like to know what happened.
