Hey,

I just read somewhere that American (I'm assuming all of North America) men generally don't know how to shave their face properly. Read something about it being a lost art.

I pretty much learned it myself, and luckily with not many cuts :p

So, I'm wondering for those gamers here that DO shave :p Do you go with or against the grain? And what gives you a good shave? :knife::tongue::wink::redface:

Slowly with the grain.. and to make it baby smooth, against it. I have to admit because of my work i sometimes have irregular shaving times, sometimes its a bit too long to go against the grain - then it cuts and bleeds.

First off, I don't even use shaving cream, lol. I do fine without it though.
I start at the top (just under the line where my nose would be if it stretched across my face) work with the grain slowly down, the once i reach halfway down my neck come back up in long sweeps against the grain.

No... shaving against the grain can increase the chance for ingrown hairs, you can get it from shaving with the grain aswell anyway.
Shaving against the grain makes your skin smooth like a baby's bottom though.

Agreed with the smooth part.. I stopped shaving against the grain though.. it was too hard on my skin.

Are they any good? I was thinking of getting one, but I heard it doesn't give you a smooth shave as a razor?

They're not amazing, honestly they're not nearly as good as a razor
but they can be pretty good, it just depends on how u shave

once every 2-3 months or so i'll decide to shave and i'll leave like stubble XD
cause im too lazy to try to get close

im concidering learning how to shave with a strait razor (supposedly the closest shave you can get)
