Don't worry there are quite a few people I know not using it. I mostly use it for advertising anyways....i don't have facebook

*high-fives* That makes two of us i guess. I had a Facebook for a while but it's just a little too personal for my tastes. I like to fly under the radar as much as possible and to have a Facebook sort of works against that idea.
I'm only really using it myself as an advertising tool. Same with twitter.. although I feel addicted to twitter when im online signed in the GP account
But it does help advertise and get news out there.
As for FB, I don't like having the fact that someone out there ANY stranger can know info about me.. my school, education, family, friends etc... I mean I bet half of the private investigators use FB to bust people or get info on them!
Oh yeah, Facebook is a hotpot for data mining. I don't doubt that numerous organizations use it in order to track people or hunt people down. It's kind of scary to think about actually. I can see how it's useful for advertising though, as that could lead to a lot of views from people who may be looking for a place to go.

true.. and now most human resources dept. hiring for jobs look you up on sites eg. FB, twitter, linkedin etc.. They want to know more about you.
But I find the less they know the better. That way they can't really judge you right away. Or if you made 1 mistake eg. party pic on FB and an employer sees it... kinda can hurt you a lot!
SO HEY..... i kind of need pointed towards this facebook group. I made a profile for Jing, as well as a twitter to kind of help out with trying to get the word out. If i can access my old friend base via my friends on there, then i can try and get a few more active people.
Also: Found the group a while ago on facebook. Maybe when we get a couple more members, we could have a Shout day where we have all the members shout links to GP on their facebook and twitter page. That might bring in a few people. Just a thought, won't help much right now.
