aight...then my least favorite zerg unit is the devourer....it looks like...a really mutated locust.>.<

defilers own terrans, if u dont use defilers ur zergs are basically bunker fodder unless you use guardians insanely defended by hydras and mutas.

OK. First of all, let me enlighten you: Terran Siege Tanks DO have greater range than Protoss Reavers (in siege mode, of course). So, I think too that reavers suck a lot. The only way thay can be usefull is to put them in a (or two) shuttle and drop them in a main base (most effective against zergs).
my leasts are the queens, (broodlings = too mush mana, ensnare = not slow enough for me) the firebats (only useful early game)
You forgot the Parasites, my friend. They cost only 75 energy and require no additional research. Using them on the right units you can force the enemy to make some hard decisions. He can let you have his unit's sight, or he can kill one of his own valuable units.
My least favourite unit? Ultralisks (I don't want to tease you UWanaPiecAMeBoy, I still think that marines rule :D ). Too expensive, too large, too small damage (20dmg, equals to a dragoon attack :/ ) and they have only ground attack... I would rather build a bunch of lings and spare some gas. And we all know that zergs need a LOT of gas...

i wasn't sayin queens arnet good, i was just coming up with an alternative excuse for, "i dont like them because i suck at using them". lol

anyway i have always doubted the efficiency of ultralisks, but although they only do as much as a dragoon, i like them for end game, when i have them fully upgraded, lemme give ya the lowdown on those stats :D

they do 20+9 at about the speed of a ling (w/out adrenal glands) wich is way quicker than goons, the have 400 hp, and (im not sure on this one) like 5 or 6 armor. not to mention they are so badass. sry, im an ultralisk fan

zerg dont need as much gas as toss i always thought. maybe just how i used em.

(just my opinion, not tryin to argue)

siege need to be deployed, reavers dont. siege have a minimum range, reavers dont. reavers can do the reaver drop, sieges dont.

thats sucks a lot for you.

That's all true. I'm just saying that as slow as they are I can only use them for sabotaging my opponents. In addition they are quite expensive too. 2 reavers + 1 shuttle (witch is the minimum for a succesfull drop) cost a hell lot of money. Putting it all together, I'd rather combine deployed and undeployed tanks wich are (for me) as good for offensive as for defensive tactics.
However, Starcraft is an almost perfectly balanced game, and it's not making much sense to discuss things like these. Each unit can be very usefull if it's handled the right way by the right player.

not making sense? man this is why we are all here! we be rant'n on our favorite carnage ling-mashing internet game. if this ain't mak'n any sense youre in the wrong forum. lol

but any way, i can see how both make good use of thier stregnth, but this particular thread is on our least fav. units, so we dont need to tell each other why what theu think sux, is really good.

its all a amatter of opinion man.

I just wanted to avoid turning the thread into "my dad is stronger than yours". It's not making sense to argue about "unbeatable" tactics, or units, cuz there is no such thing in SC. It's great to hear about other people's opinions and strats, but it makes no sense trying to change someone's opinion. If I say "reavers suck", that doesn't mean that they do suck. It means that I suck using them:D, wich is (I think) the point of "least favourite unit". That's all I wanted to say.
Peace.:)

Im a complete zerg fan, to me the whole army is great. I wish the terrans would experiment more with thier ghost, and i really dont see the protoss well enough to give them any credit besides dark templar and carriers.....which my scourage got thier nickname from lol.

I find it very funny that there are so many posts here bashing least favorite units, but so few in the other thread bashing favorite units.
I guess a lot of people are more defensive of their own units than are opposed to the others. ^_^

Tanks, while powerful and have splash, are limited to ground attacks, and are somewhat slow even when they are not in Siege mode. Mutalisks go everywhere, hit everything, and hit multiple enemies.

In most situations:
Mutalisk + Siege Tank = Scrap Metal
