Ive been thinking about getting dreadlocks for a long time and i finally decided to do it. my friend agreed to do it for me in a few days.

Does anyone have any advice about this? have anyone else tried this or know anyone who has? i already read about a few small things(like how to wash and care for it), i just want some extra advice.

no cornrows and dreadlocks arent the same thing.

-dreadlocks are braids that are only stuck to the head by one small spot at the end of the vraid.

-cornrows are braids that are stuck to the head on one side of the whole braid.

theyre different.

thats what im doing. as soon as i get all the stuff i need(special shampoo, "dread wax" .....several things) and have enough time to let my friend braid it.
