Sega Genesis Collection

I just picked it up yesterday at Sam's Club for $18.88, but I haven't played it yet. As you might have guessed, it's a collection of Sega Genesis games. It's available for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, and retails for $19.99 for the PS2 version and $29.99 for the PSP version.

Holy Moly, you get all those? I know a lot of those are some of my favorite games. I wish it included Shinobi 2, but...that collection looks like it might be worth getting.

I used to have a Sega Genesis with nearly all those games on it, but my mom got rid of it when I was a kid, because I failed some math class. That really stunk.

Thats a lot of pretty good games in that game.

Better buy than waiting for them to get on Live Arcade or Wii VC.

Ha, I remeber Genesis. Actually I was just playing Sonic 2 last weekend. Best retro game ever.

Sonic's 1-3 are the only real good games from the franchise. Sonic Rush and Adventure are still almost perfect.

Same with the Mario games.

I don't understand, you're saying Mario 1-3 were the only real good games in the series?

I disagree (but hey, it's your opinion). Mario World, Mario Sunshine, Mario brothers 3, Yoshi's Island (if it counts) and Mario land 2 all make my top 10 games ever list.

I do kinda agree aboutt sonic. In my opinion, the only good ones were 1-3 and Adventure 1 and 2. I love sonic though, grew up with him.

..Crap I forgot Sonic CD, that one was good.

Well I didn't mean just that those three were the only good ones. I just meant like Sonic's 1-3 SMB. 1-3 were the same. SM64, World, The Land series are also the other good ones.

Yoshi's Island could count in the whole Mario time line but not about the Mario games in general.

What about Sonic Advance 1-3? Sure they were more speed focued, but they were excellent either way.
