Soulcalibur 5 to be Delisted

Soulcalibur 5 will be delisted from Xbox and Playstation Store which will make the base game and it's DLC unavailable for purchase starting from June 19, 2023.

Bandi Namco made this announcement stating that over a decade since the release the fighting game, it's now time to move on from the game.

There is always a time whenever a gaming company decides to move on from one of their games because it is no longer giving them what they want in terms of being able to make money from it and I believe it is exactly what happened with this game. It's time have passed and it's time to move on.

Honestly, I have expected this game to be delisted for a long time but it seemed like the developer was still making money from still selling the game but unfortunately they couldn't sustain it for a very long time which is why it has been officially delisted.

This is a game I thought would have been delisted way before now. It's a shame as it was a great game, I remember having hours of fun playing Soul Calibur 5 with friends but it's always bound to happen eventually, especially if the developer is not making anything from it anymore.
