Suicidal - Self-harm.

The King Of Bandits
Well obviously if you put them down in such a way, then you do think your better then them. I can tell it just from the things you are saying. Yes it is a stupid decision, but thats why we should help them.

Compassion:
a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.

We should have compassion for them becuase thats what they need most. Any humna in their right mind feels compassion, even if they do not show it. and in todays world if we were to go by what you are saying, this crap your putting up about how they are cowards, then we would be going with society and its way of thinking. Which, obviously just from looking at who screwed up the world is with it constantly thinking of sex and killing and suicide and drugs and alchol, is something that we should be fighting. Further more, they need our support. If they are killing themselves becuase they dont feel loved, then why dont we make things a little bit more obvious, and throw away these thoughts about elevating sex to be like some sort of god or something.

The world in general could benefit from showing just a little bit of compassion towards others, specialy those who feel left out, or like there is no where to run to. As gaming pirate implied, people like you make me sick. Becuase they are just coasting through life thinking they have all the answers, and if someone is weak they are a coward and should should be left behind. Let me ask you something however, where would the world be if we had left the weak behind? where would the world be if we had left poland behind back in ww2? where would the world be if we had left the persian gulf to its wars back in desert storm? Next time before you go spouting your non sense and thinking you have the right answer, consider this. Where would the world be if we did not have people like you in charge?

As for now i have much more pressing matters to attend to then this debate, it has been fun Zidarri.

Yes, they need compassion. I'm not saying they don't. But I, ME PERSONALLY, will not give idiots compassion.

I am not putting them down. I am arrogant, an asshole, and a smartass. Thats how I act, so when people call me such, I don't take them as insults. They are just telling me how I act. Running away from life is cowardly by description. I am not trying to poke fun, or insult them. I am just saying how they act is cowardly.

I do not agree with society in most cases. Rarely do I agree with it. But saying that they are not cowards is wrong. As per my last post, I posted a description of the word Coward. Not being able to cope with pain, is fine. But resulting in running away from it? Cowardly.

Lmfao. I can tell you right now I wouldn't give up.

But you're rigght. Not everyone who commits suicide is an idiot. But they are 'being' stupid when they do so, none the less.

Actually, I am quite normal. I have no metal or physical retardation. Plenty of people like me. Just because I am not liked on a single website doesn't mean anything.

I've been thinking lately about this argument. Suicide can be seen as both a way of dealing with pain, and a cowardly wait out. I myself take the cowardly perspective.

I personally see it as a way of dealing with pain, in the 'wrong' way. It's an escape from reality in some cases, also for some, it's a pathetic excuse. People who get picked on at school a lot commit suicide. There are those who have diseases and fight it for so long, but eventually give up.

Then there are those whom are stupid and commit suicide. And one of the last types of people who do it are those too cowardly to continue on living.

So, I correct myself. Only 90% of suicides are cowardly. Those stupid people who do it for attention, or because they think they have 'emotional' pain. Those are the only ones who are not cowardly. They're just plain stupid.

Three problems wrong with that.

A. You are not everybody.
B. I am bisexual, not homosexual.
C. You have improper sentence structure.

Yeah you can ^_^

And you didnt insult any members but helped to keep this not very friendly discussion alive.
Sometimes its better just to leave it even though you have an other opinion if you see that the topic or your opinion seriously upsets other members.

It seeems that people commit suicide for many reasons, such as depression, physical/mental abuse.
I have been there seen a friend (well not seen) but known someone who committed suicide, and also have contiplated it before (when i was much longer) when there was alot of bad things happening at once.. i wont go ito the details as it would take forever...
But i think its somethng that happens...
its a very bad thing, my sister went into the whole self harm thing which was very disturbing, even more so that she told others it was because of myself///

Thought its wrong i understand. Sometimes ppl go throught alot of crap, and they feel the end is that they end it all. I have attempted twice. I have my reasons why i did. I do have to say that that was about 6 years ago, so i feel i may have recovered, and though thoughts have come into my mind at times i try very hard to work against it. I dont feel i need to explain why i did it, or apologize for trying. And neither should those who might have done it.

of course people are going to feel dejected, everyone does. self harm is not an acceptable way to cope with it. unless you've tried everything possible to help yourself suicide is no way to deal with your emotions. now, if your too shy, or feel that you cant depend on someone else, then go to a psychiatrist or psychologist. medical attention may or may not help, but its still worth a try.

OMG self-harm or suicide... that's just so wrong. Not only for those who commit them but also for everyone around them, the people who love them.

none of those thoughts have ever crossed my mind *shivers* nor do I have reazons to, thankfully.

Of course I had bad moments in life, everyone does, life in perfect sadly. Yet, bad momments make us appreciate the good ones. I don't thingk self-harm or suicide solves anything, it just causes more pain. Maybe just try to look at the bright side of all things, that's whatI do and it works for me. ^^
