This guy tried to help the police in a potentially dangerous police chase. At a slow turn, the guy bumped the car the police were chasing, just to help them out. Tonight he's going to jail for 30 days for trying to help. There goes the holidays. This is very stupid.

well... I think the cops prolly wanted to take care of it himself... its NOT his JOB to stop the guy... Although yeah.. he shouldnt be punished for it... pretty lame.. then again.. why do a cops job? Not like you get paid or rewarded for helping.. LMAO!
No, there shouldn't be a reward at all. It's still pretty bad that they throw him in the slammer.

I'm glad we're all kind of on the same page. I think 30 days in jail is more than a slap on the wrist. Zayne, I also have lower respect for the authority. Surely, if this guy knew the consequences he wouldn't have done it. And I'm sure if they hadn't thrown him in jail, he still wouldn't have done it. I sure as hell would LIKE to help the 'experts' but I won't.
Off topic: Some people got caught going on a stealing spree, and are getting life in jail. Some murderers, however, get like 20 years in jail.
