Asuka had been watching from the shadows without making a single move. She had learned long ago to wait for the right moment to act. She had seen the other kids fighting the Heartless almost efortlessly, they were good, no doubt about that. And obviously Zel had a purpose for all that but she wouldn't do anything until she got answers.
But now, after hearing Zel's words, she understood, she accepted that something was going to happen and that all the people in that place would be useful; yet not all her questions had been answered. There was something else missing.
"Well, I don't know about the other one you're talking about but... why are we the chosen ones to fight this war?" she asked, looking Zel in the eyes.

Zel turned to the girl who just spoke. "Why, don't you know? The legend has it that one day, 4 will come. They are of all 4 types. They shall stop the war. Your hearts are so pure that you obtained all four. Anymore questions? No? Then let the training begin!" He snapped his fingers and made a path to another round platform. "Follow me" he said as he began to walk.
"Wait, our hearts are pure?" Siad Ami as she followed Zel. "Oh and dun you want to know our names?" Siad Ami with her hands on her hips.

"I already know them. You are Ami the Dragon. You are strong but you may need a friend to help you. The boy back there is Kaze the Lepard. He is quick, agile and fast with a blade. The girl is Asuka the Owl. The wisest and most loving of the four." said Zel. "As for your hearts, yes, they are."
"wow, This one here done his homework." Siad Ami with a chip-on-her-shoulder Smile. "But whats with this Dragon thing, I'm not part Dragon, But I love the sound of it." Siad Ami as she walked.

"You see, the legend says that the children will each be given an animal alter-ego. The animal they are most like. You were born with it and your weapns, actions, and moves reflect it." Zell continued to walk down the path until he reached the other platform. "As long as there aren't any more questions, we will begin. Everyone, please join in the center of the platform."
Ami walked to the center of the platform, "Hm, All I wanted is to be a Hey Reper, But I guess this can be some fun too." Siad Ami with a fangy smile.
Asuka, glanced at the other kids as she followed Zel to the other plataform. She heard Ami's talking but she couldn't quite catch what she was saying. She was deep in thought as she gathered all the information she had just heard.
So, she was all types... that explained her Ninja abbillitiies. Could that be the secret that the Soul Society had been hidding from her? But why... if they had told her earlier she had been able to get a better training. Now she was far beyond the other kids, she would never be as good Ninja and she was not a very skilled keyblader either. What she really knew was to hunt and destroy Hollows, all her life she had been a Soul Reaper.
Well, Zel said they needed training and somehow she trusted him, plus she was determined to improve, she wanted to help and be useful in the war. She would not stay behind while the others fought. That was her war too.
With that thought in her mind Asuka walked to the center of the plataform with a determined look on her face.

Zel snapped his fingers and made three rocks appear. On top of each of them was a floating weapon. "Alright so you all are comfortable wielding your own weapons. What about with the weapons i supply you? Here are three rocks and on them are three weapons. One for each of you. The first rock is for the Lepard. It holds on it the weapon of speed and accuracy, a standard sword. Next is the dragon. A weapon of extreme power. The mage's staff. Finally, the owl. A weapon only useful if you have the right technique and only if you are wise enough to wield it. The mage's book. Each of your weapons has a special power. Here is where you will discover it. Whenever i call you here...u are only to use these weapons. Jitsu will not work for you anymore. Keyblades will disappear if you tr to use them. Working with these weapons will help you with your other weapons. Now...here is your first task...work to gether and stop that!"
Zel snapped his fingers and the platform started to shake. He rose up and created a barrier around him. The three rocks disappeared and a monster grew from the darkness. Darkside Heartless.

"oh great," kaze complained, "more fighting I'm tired, can i please just go to ****ing sleep!?" Kaze grabs the sword and jumps up and attacks the head of the darkside heartless. He unleashes a chain of sword combos and takes out the darksides eyes before it can do anything. Kaze then sits down "there," he said "I've blinded it, you two can finish it off, I'm going to sleep." Kaze lays down and closes his eyes.
Zel snapped his fingers and unblinded the darkside. He then snapped again and summoned two more. He shot Dark Aura at Kaze, not to injue him, just to wake him up. "No. Each of you have to fight one. I promise you can rest when you defeat them."

Kaze sighs and stands up. "fine this will only take a second" Kaze jumps up and runs up the darkside heartless' arm and slashes through it's head. He then cuts off it's arm. Kaze jumps down from the heartless as it starts to discharge what seems to be blue electricity and a heart flys up from it and disappears. As the heart disappears so does the heartless. "There, happy!? now let me ****ing sleep!" Kaze lays down again and goes to sleep.
Zel sighed and made a barrier around the boy. "Rest boy, you've been through a lot. The lepard needs his rest so that he can move quickly and attack."

Ami staired at the Heartless whitch seem forever. Her Hand twiched whitch made the Heartless lungaed a claw at her, Ami quickly rolled out of the way and grabed the Mage's Staff.
"Dog Blargit, I dun know how to use this thing." Siad Ami as she held the Stay like herr Keyblade.
The Heartless pulled its claw out of the ground holding a Dark Orb of energy. Balls of dark energy fell from the sky. Ami dodge some of them. One was falling too fast for her to dodge so Ami hit it with her staff. The Orb turn to light enrgy and went fling to the Heartless.
The Heartless was hit nad it fell tot he ground Roaring in pain. The Heartless soon faded away. "Hm, well I might say thats new for this Girl." Siad Ami as twriled her Mage's Staff.

Asuka watched as the other two fought, quickly and successfully defeating the Heartless. She looked at her weapon in dismay… it was a book, what was she supposed to do with a book.
She didn’t have much time to think about it though, the Heartless had made it’s first attack and she jumped off it’s way. Instinctively she made to grab her sword but her hand stopped half-way. Zel had said that their weapons would be useless, and all the others had made it. She wouldn’t fail. Her pride made her react and she thought quickly while avoiding the heartless attacks.
A book, a book… her mind raced as she frantically tried to figure out how to use her weapon. What had Zel told about it? It was the book of Mage. And suddenly she understood what she needed to do.
Asuka held the book firmly in her hands when the next assault almost caught her off Guard. She faced the Heartless as she gathered all the strength and energy inside of her and opened the book letting out flurry pages in the Heartless direction. Her eyes widened as the creature was trapped within the pages.

Zel watched as the two girls destroyed their heartless. He lowered himself and got rid of the barrier around him and the boy. He clapped and said, "Bravo, very good. You two have the trickiest weapons. The more you use them, the more things you will learn to do. These abilities will help you with your real weapons. Now. Your first stage of training is almost complete." HE shot out another Dark Aura at the boy and woke him up. "Now, if you will all follow me to the last platform." He made another pathway and led the kids to the last platform. "Here, you won't use any weapons. No jitsus either." He snapped his fingers and their weapons disappeared. "This last heartless must be fought by using your wits and skill. Use his own power against him." He snapped his fingers and summoned the great Behemoth. He rose up and barricaded himself. "Ready and....GO!"
Ami's staff disappered, "Ah, crap." Siad Ami as she dodge an attack. "How are we suppose to put a hurting on this thing without weapons." Siad Ami with a tone.
"What ever, I'm charging in!" Siad Ami as she charged at the bomhath only to get knock to the side.

Kaze stands up rubing his eyes yawning and streaching. He aproaches the behemoth easly dodging attacks. He looks at it for a few seconds. "well let's see that center horn is one giant weak spot so i might as well slimb up some how and try to attack it." Kaze jumps out of the way of some falling orbs "hmmm... he said jutsu right...?" Kaze looks at the falling orbs and sends chkra to his feet to protect them from the orb. "well here goes nothing" He kicks one of the orbs sending it flying at the center balck horn. "well that seemed to work. it's different thn what i planned but hey, what ever as long as it works."
Zel observed as only the owl stayed still. Just as he had thought. He then gave the kids a little advice and some motivation. "Some advice, the weakspot as you all may know is his horn. Now how can you attack the horn with only HIS attacks? Oh and another thing, you don't leave here until this beast is lying dead. That means no sleep."
