I'm not sure if gay people should be able to call it marriage by definition of the word, but they should have an equivalent that gives them the same rights as a couple. I say this because it shouldn't interfere with the people that say "marriage is between a man and a woman"... because it wouldn't be marriage... it would have a different name. But basically, whether it's called marriage or something else, I am not against it. Change the definition of the word "marriage" or create a word for gay people that means the same thing.
Also, remember that the USA is SUPPOSED TO BE a free country. (Even though it seems less like one every day.) We shouldn't make harmless things illegal just because they're things that some people don't like. Banning gay marriage is anti-freedom. The USA is not a dictatorship.

I'm with Ray, I guess you can make a new name for it, but I see how that could offend the gay community(over-sensitivity on their part if so, it's a fucking word) though there isn't much to do about that. Everyone gets offended these days if they're not considered as an option in every single fucking aspect of existence. I don't see any reason why homosexuals should not be married. All they're going to do is...be married. Big fucking deal. OH NOES TEH FAGS ARE TAKIN OVR R SOCIETYYYS!!11111one.
