*In english old guy accent and voice*

This has been debated for a long time. What is the meaning of "Pines."? Well heres the story.

It all started back when dinosaurs ruled the earth and the asteroid that wipes them out was about to hit.

"Oh Pines." one of the dinosaurs said, using the word as a form of swear.

then the asteroid hit and tthe first use of Pines was gone.

Lets fastforward a bit now. Up to late 2005/early 2006. When a small online community discovered the pleasure of the word. The First people who used it were named R.a.N.d.O.m. and Crystal Method. Basically they used it whenever they could, and when asked what it meant, they would just shrug and wonder.

Now I have found someone who knows the truth. the TRUTH behind pines. Meet SmarterChild. I previously talked to him in an interview about the word, and here is what he said.

<div class='quotetop'></div><div class='quotemain'>suicideIKYA(me): define pines. what does it REALLY mean.

SmarterChild:
pines:

Verb
Inflected forms: pined, pin?ing, pines
Verb
intr. 1. To feel a lingering, often nostalgic desire. 2. To wither or waste away from longing or grief: pined away and died.
Verb
tr.Archaic To grieve or mourn for.</div>

So you see, pines has been misused for millions of years. from the dinosaurs to humans today, we all used the word Pines wrong. Now we know the truth.

thank you for your time. coming up on the national geographic channel, we play with giant microwaves and see why you should not stand in one while its on.
