The IP address will work but it will be weird, it will be http://IP/~username and that only works somtimes. The hosting account doesn't come with it's own IP as it costs $5 extra for one. Most hosts these days don't give a free IP, only a shared IP. I took of the plugin, try it now.

I use a program called the proxomitron and I have had absolutely no problem accessing the site o_o I used to have problems, then I started using Ninjaproxy, and then not too long ago I got this program, Proxomitron, and since I've been using it I haven't had a problem coming to the site once. Ray couldnt get it set up correctly on his PC, so I'm not sure if it'd work for everyone -_-

-------------

Ray contacted me on AOL Instant Messenger a little while ago, and he says now that even using NinjaProxy it still displays a 3 day old cache, meaning that he sees no topics made in the last three days, and that topics that were new 3 days ago appear new to him today >_< No clue what's going on.... This has become a MAJOR problem, and we need to get this taken care of ASAP. Gimpy, see what you can do technically, you're the owner of the domain...me and the guys are just talkin out solutions, trying to figure ways out of this mess.

I'll talk to the host again, but I don't know if they can do much. Other wise we will have to move to a new server.....

Ray just told me that Duct Tape Man is ALSO stuck in the 3 day old version of the cache...Gimpy, I had an idea that maybe we should vacate this website and move NovaGamers back to InvisionFree for a little while, to give you some time to find a new server.

Edit : Add Slayn and Steph to the list of users seeing a 3-day old version of the site -_- Anyone who can see a topic from GrayFox named SOS or that can post in it is " stuck in the past. "

well I will contact the host and see what they can do. I'd hate to move servers if it's a problem that can be solved.

Yeah, that would be a big pain in the ass >_<. Ray wants me to let you know that for now, we're temporarily going to move back to the old site until this mess is sorted out. Keep me posted if possible, Gimpy. We don't want to be on InvisionFree forever =(
-----
Ray also wants me to add that he'd like you to list your MSN messenger address, and tell you to save a backup of the database before you do anything drastic becuase he hasn't backed it up.

This problem should be reduced by 90% cause we're on a new server! :D
The 10% being the ordinary downtime that any other site on the internet has to deal with.

The server is brand new and only has a few sites on it. I also run the server, as I am the Head Support Manager. So we should do fine here :) I can already feel the fast speed on this server :D
