Oh come now, your honor. Certainly you won't be spoonfed such nonsense; gunshots do not kill people, Mr. Leech. What kills, however, is when bullets sever arteries, or vital organs. Killing someone with a gun is NOT as easy as it sounds, unless you're close range and ready to shoot them 5 or 6 times, even in which case you do NOT have guaranteed death, as seen in the case of Curtis Jackson. Your honor, I'd like to raise the point that the " victim " here is a FREQUENT in-and-out of jail cocaine dealer, and I SEVERELY doubt my client would shoot him for no reason. I call for a brief recess in order for the jury to discuss recent changes in the case, and for my client to get a drink of water. Your Honor?

One, climb out this bathroom window and never look back; life on the run isn't that bad as long as you watch your ass and don't slip up. That, or come back with me, and we'll get it down to manslaughter 2, and the minimum I can get you is 5 years; you'll be out in 2 and a half with good behavior.
