I think google made the server hosting the image take it down.

Basically someone searched "White people stole my car"

It then below said: "did you mean black people stole my car"

I thought it might be too.. but it looks pretty damn real... and why would google tell the person to take the image down... it must have been real.

It was down earlier, but its been fixed up i guess by the image provider

It was probably a glitch or something because it didn't last long before it was taken down. Google would have drawn a wide criticism if that had stood there for long.

It seems it was not available for the public to see for very long meaning it was either someone messing around and got caught or it was a glitch or an issue that was fixed pretty quickly.

Google would have definitely faced a huge amount of back lash if this was done on purpose.
